Ferguson Shootings: Eric Holder Calls Shootings of Cops 'Repugnant' (Bloody Hands)

The shootings of two police officers overnight in Ferguson, Missouri, are "inexcusable and repugnant" and threaten the reforms sought by nonviolent protesters, Attorney General Eric Holder said on Thursday.

"We will continue to stand unequivocally against all acts of violence against cops whenever and wherever they occur," he said in a statement.

A report commissioned by Holder and issued last week found widespread racial bias in law enforcement in Ferguson. The officers were shot toward the end of a demonstration that followed the resignation of the Ferguson police chief.

The St. Louis County police chief described the shootings of the officers as an ambush and said both were lucky to have survived. One was shot under the eye and still has a bullet lodged in his brain, the chief said.

Holder's statement likened the shootings in Ferguson to the killings of a police officer in Philadelphia last week and a deputy U.S. marshal in Louisiana this week.

"Such senseless acts of violence threaten the very reforms that nonviolent protesters in Ferguson and around the country have been working towards for the past several months," the attorney general said.

Holder just released a statement decrying these assaults.

Ironic, since he and his Bud in the Oval Office have been instigating the situation that lead to these assaults.

After expending hundreds of thousands dollars trying to condemn Officer Darren Wilson, the “Justice” department exonerated the police officer of all the false charges that the race pimps tried to input on him.

The entire police department in Ferguson needs to walk away and get jobs elsewhere. They are walking targets.

The police officers that were shot were NOT Ferguson Police officers. They were St. Louis City Police and Sheriff Department employees.

The police department in Ferguson does not need to walk away. They are all going to be fired and replaced by County Sheriffs. The City will simply contract their police services to the Sheriff's department and these officers will all be out of a job - unless they can hire on with the Sheriff's department.
