You are correct sir. Two years at San Quentin, and 23 years at Solano, in Vacaville. I talked to Charlie Manson a few times there. (SQ) I saw the Night Stalker, but never spoke to him. I think Charlie went to Corcoran years ago. Charlie is weird. The crazy way he looks like on TV, is really the way he is. It is not an act he is putting on. We were serving breakfast once, and Charlie looked at me and said, soon you will be getting paid in Russian Rubles. We all got a good laugh out of that. We talked to Simon all the time, and he was always respectful, but we had to leave our personal feelings at home, and deal professionally with them. It wasn't always easy to do.

This story would make a good TV series, and a well timed antidote to all the Ferguson, MO racial bull crap.
I even know the perfect broadcast time - opposite the new prime time Black soap opera “Empire” on Fox.
