How is Cruz breaking any old rules? He’s entered into the primaries for the people to decide his fate. That seems to be both proper and fair to me. Go Ted!

Surprisingly good article from Time.My instinct is that the Democrats think Cruz is easily beatable. They are therefore handling him with kid gloves. We shall soon see about that theory.
If I'm right, then Ted is a Trojan Horse.

How is Cruz breaking any old rules? Maybe these rules are the ones that dictated that it was McCain's "turn" in 2008?

"the firebrand senator"
STFU you stinking animals. I have NEVER seen Cruz in a "FIREBRAND" mode. He is thoughtful, logical, polite, and humorous. The MSM are desperately trying to label him and marginalize him before the general public has a chance to decide for itself.

Huh? Kid gloves? What planet have you been on for the past year?
To: rockrr
Agreed. It seems to me that Cruz and Walker are catching the most flak at this point. To me that is a good thing.
Conservatives are really known by their enemies and at this point, these two are catching the most. Both good men, I hope there are one or two more added to this short list.
Then over the next few months, we can see which one can withstand the onslaught without coming apart. THAT will be our candidate.

I keep trying to think of one single reason why a democrat should ever be President again and I keep coming up with nothing.
Even the worst publican President is going to be light years better than any dem Prez.
I started writing this post thinking there would be some sarcasm in it somewhere but after finishing it I can see there is nothing but truth so no /s. ;)

You're not.
You appear to be too dumb to come out of the rain!
Or in other words, you're all wet!

Cruz has the potential of igniting a real passion among supporters - particularly younger ones. He can run an energetic campaign and is not stuck in the last century like the rest of the GOP country club conventional hacks.

Ted has to declare now...Gop.e leadership and the MSM have totally whitewashed and vaporized the message Americans sent in November.
It’s now or never. between Hansen and SCOTUS in June, he has to get past tbe media to show his battling for restoration of freedom.
Too many are losing hope with VJs pure evil.

Looks like Ted wants to break for the finish line and let all the rest of the field play catch-up.

(We are finished. It will just take a while before everyone realizes it.)
To: KC_Lion
Absolutely!
And, the problem the left will have is that Ted’s smart enough to pull it off.

What’s so bad about being a “firebrand”?
Bush I: Not firebrand.
Dole: Not firebrand.
Bush II: Not firebrand.
McCain: Not firebrand.
Romney: Not firebrand.
Where have all those non-firebrands gotten us?
