The Chinese do except for the heart, because the drugs used to kill destroy it.

I read literature from a pro life group explaining that all organs must be harvested before death. The instant death occurs the organs are no longer able to be used due to, I think, the release of an enzyme. There were several stories of patients who survived after their families refused to consent to turning off life support & donating their organs despite the doctor’s frustration.
I’m not even sure I could go through with a transplant for one of my children knowing that the donor was alive when their organs were harvested.

I have it all figured out now. Sometime about eight years ago I dropped through a fissure in time into an alternate universe where
Monty Python was actually a documentary,
Atlas Shrugged non-fiction, and Franz Kafka a beat reporter. In this universe
The Atlantic is the functional equivalent of
Mad Magazine. It explains so much.

Good explanation, makes as much sense as anything else.

When my husband had his heart attack on the farm, it took a while for EMT to get to the farm, I was doing CPR until they got there. When we reached the hospital, he was pronounced dead after 1/2 hour in ER. He had wanted to be an organ donor but when I talked with the doctor, he said none of his organs would be useful...only skin could be used...I refused to give OK for his skin...bones were never mentioned..

oh, So you want a Master Race? With the Political Left, I think the goal would be better described as Master CLASS, rather than Master Race.

property of ones person taken by “eminent domain”.
Since all medical decisions are now government decisions, the government picks winners and losers.

Yes they are. EVERYTHING is considered “organs” to the industry.

Here is one article that I found from the World Health Organization. Illegal International Organ donor trade is still happening. I have seen other articles where people were selling kidneys for money. This article is nine years old and it is possible the trade has increased over time.

I nominate the staff of the Atlantic to pioneer this procedure.
