I wish some conservative groups would also find owls, snakes, beetles, and turtles to add to this. The econutburgers on the left have their allies concoct this crap out of thin air anytime they’re against something.

Let them see how their tactics feel.

Bwahahahaha!

Meanwhile, that same $68 billion could provide enough desalinization plants to make the whole State immune from drought.

Another alternative would be to build more reservoirs.

Impossible. You'd need to dam rivers. This is California, dude. They don't dam rivers in California. Rivers, like, need to be free, get it? And then there's the wild animals and plants and things that would have to move out of the way. Do you realize the impacts of all that on the other things that would get impacted? No, absolutely not.

That cat was fanatical about trains, wasn’t he? I swear, he would have made for a helluva passenger rail lobbyist.

If the state were inhabited by and governed by adults, this is what would be happening, not some high-speed boondoggle road to hell. Liberals...is there anything they can't screw up?

I’m glad these Enviro wackos weren’t around in the late 1940’s & early 50’s (I’m sure a few of them were)...our interstate highway system might never have been built.

“Second comment: they sell kit foxes at ikea. If you want a fully- assembled fox, you have to go to the zoo.”

I think you’ve got it backwards. IKEA has Kit Fox KITS!

“Should have been working on nuke powered de-salination plants and pipelines.”

EXACTLY! But that would be rational thinking, something so foreign to Jerry the Fairy and his minions as to be infinitesimal.

Would be funnny if liberal affection for the environment finally puts the kibosh on this boondoggle.

Like Willie Green, I’m a fan of the train - after all, it knit this country together.

What I don’t agree with is the need for high speed rail in CA with this exorbitant price tag.

No one wants it.
