This is not to be taken lightly. The most critical part of Obama’s 2012 re-election was probably the intensive micro-targeting facilitated by a slew of former Google employees in OFA’s Chicago office. This kind of talent, along with a budget north of $2B is going to be a problem. Romney’s 2012 effort (the infamous ORCA failure) easily cost him FL, perhaps other states. The RNC has to have it’s $hit together this time, and they are on notice that Hillary is spending a ton and grabbing the key analytical talent to reach all sorts of niche voters.
