Hillary Clinton has arrived at her first campaign stop, completing the 965 mile trip from Chappaqua, New York to Le Claire, Iowa in about two days time. Her choice of transportation? A Secret Service owned and operated van.
The van, however, isn't an everyday minivan or even a full-sized van. It's a luxury vehicle outiftted with top amenities.
Specifically: It's a limited edition Chevrolet Express van upfitted with a Limited SE packed by Explorer Vans company "It's very luxurious," a salesman who helped deliver this vehicle tells me on the phone. "I'd rank it up there with the best."
The model being used to chauffeur Hillary Clinton around has a gray leather interior, heated seat, a 29 inch Samsung television, and a Blu-ray DVD player.
There is no refrigerator in the van. However, Hillary's model does feature an ice chest between the two front seats. (Which might have been used to keep her cottage cheese cold.) The middle chairs are swivel and quick release. Indirect lighting (like mood lighting) throughout the vans.
Oh, and there's a bed. The power sofa in the rear of the vehicle converts into a bed. But given the fact it's only a 6 foot wide vehicle, it might have been a little hard to get a proper night's sleep in it.
But it's not exactly great for the environment. It's a 2014 model all-wheel-drive that gets only 16-18 miles per gallon.

“Hillary’s model does feature an ice chest between the two front seats. (Which might have been used to keep her cottage cheese cold.)”
Ewww, that sounds disgusting. We’ve seen her cellulite.
Brain bleach, please...
That bed will come in handy for a roll in the hay with Huma.
Is there a special receptacle where the passenger can keep his or her dentures while they sleep in the back?
There certainly is one inside. The whole article is about her.
Should not her campaign pay for her van and her travel? The Secret Service should be driving their regular vehicles.
I was going in the cottage cheese ass direction
but yours is better so I will just suggest a name
and a bumpa sticka....Hilly’s Pimpapotimismobile
IF THIS VAN IS A ROCKIN’
REACH FOR A PLASTIC BAG!
Beats the hell out of Bill’s old El Camino with indoor outdoor carpeting in the bed. Wow a Van, that’s so......70’s, nothing like setting a theme for how up to date her thinking is!
Still, no picture.
As per your request ...
Does Bill have one? I bet the power bed inhis (if he has one) would be in the bed mode all the time.
And who is paying for this?
Does anyone else find this odd? Every major campaign for national office uses a big bus with the campaign artwork plastered on the side, etc. Here, she uses this small, sort of personal sized campaign vehicle.
Here’s my take: a large bus means you have to let media ride along, at least for some stretches. She and her handlers know that they have to keep the tightest possible lid on access to her because she is really not smart on the stump, not able to think on her feet, prone to gaffes, harsh reactions and similar “bad optics”.
Moreover, I suspect that, under the pressure of campaigning, she will exhibit effects of her concussion episode, such as memory lapses, confused thoughts and other symptoms. The van will also allow her to catch a lot of sleep without the press knowing how much rest she really needs to be able to keep up the campaign routine. Watch closely, because I think we will see hints along the way.
Yes. It indicates she wants to travel secretly and anonymously. What does she have to hide? Her relationship with Huma IMO.
Something that has been bothering me for a while is Hillary’s health. There is a medical problem behind her cankles and her double vision. Could be trying to hid something from the press by not letting them too close.
