The problem with the rating agencies is they ignore the critical cloture votes. Until that is factored in, it's just numbers.

And some of those numbers, like the ACU, are purposefully meant to mislead.

I think Conservative Review does factor cloture votes.

The 3 declared senators and Graham who is considering, Paul, Cruz & Rubio are very close in conservative ratings. I will favor the most electable among those 3. Losers become irrelevant. Graham is a neo-con and not conservative enough.

Paul (KY) - 2016 - 96% (Average) - 95% (Creview) - 92% (Heritage) - 95% (CFG) - 96% (ACU) - 100% (FreedomWorks)

Cruz (TX) - 2018 - 95% (Average) - 96% (Creview) - 94% (Heritage) - 92% (CFG) - 100% (ACU) - 91% (FreedomWorks)

Rubio (FL) - 2016 - 90% (Average) - 80% (Creview) - 81% (Heritage) - 92% (CFG) - 96% (ACU) - 100% (FreedomWorks)

Graham (SC) - 2020 - 58% (Average) - 51% (Creview) - 50% (Heritage) - 58% (CFG) - 68% (ACU) - 64% (FreedomWorks)

Conservative Review ratings:

TX Sen. Ted Cruz R A 96% 2 2018

KY Sen. Rand Paul R A 93% 4 2016

FL Sen. Marco Rubio R B 81% 4 2016

The "Republican" Senate Majority leader votes for a woman who thinks the President can issue edicts as law?

Tell me why we support this guy in any way?

We don’t support him. Most of us advocated for his removal last year...because we knew what he would do.

We need new Senate leadership and all of those Republicans who voted for Lynch should be removed from their committee positions.

I agree.

Anyone who supports illegal aliens or somebody such as Lynch is no conservative.

Conservative review gives this “excellent conservative” a 70% rating.

Voted Yes to confirm Loretta Lynch as AG.

Johnson is on the Foreign Relations committee that unanimously passed a bill (agreement with Obama) over the Iran treaty that essentially was handing over the treaty powers granted to Congress in the Constitution to Obama.

While using the Tea Party to garner votes for his election he now distances himself from them.

http://www.nationaljournal.com/congress/the-evolution-of-ron-johnson-20141124

When he was running for his seat he constantly talked about repealing Obamacare. And frankly, this is why people voted for him. He has not even attempted to keep his promise. Rather now he talks about tweaking the bill and says nothing can be done. He opposed defunding it.

http://www.washingtonpost.com/blogs/post-politics/wp/2013/08/14/sen-ron-johnson-opposes-obamacare-defunding-effort/

He voted yes on cloture to advance the healthcare bill which later allowed him to pretend to vote against passing the bill. (He uses that trick a lot) He helped to FUND Obamacare and criticized Ted Cruz for his efforts during the shutdown.

At a private lunch in 2013 with repubs he attacked Cruz pubicly when he would not disavow his actions which was compared by one senator in attendance as akin to a “lynch mob”.

http://www.nytimes.com/2013/10/04/us/politics/gop-elders-see-liabilities-in-shutdown.html?_r=2&;

He voted for the internet sales tax.

http://www.redstate.com/2013/03/24/26-republicans-vote-for-internet-sales-tax/

VOTED AGAINST BENEFITS FOR VETERANS

http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-news/3110863/posts

Voted to advanced amnesty bill.

http://thehill.com/blogs/floor-action/senate/304793-senate-votes-82-15-in-first-step-to-debate-immigration-reform

I gave money to his campaign and voted for the guy. He really had me fooled. Scott Walker is not my favorite in 2016 but I have a lot of respect for the man even though I disagree with him. I have no respect for Ron Johnson. At all.

There is little to no difference between Johnson IMO and Feingold whom he replaced. Rumor is that Feingold will run against him again in 2016 and I think he has a very good chance of winning. If this puts the repub majority in the Senate in jeopardy there is no one else to blame but Ron Johnson.

Ron Johnson a good conservative? Not so much.
