Regrettably, and this is a really sad statement when it comes down to commending an entity, the only ones standing up for this officer’s rights are his UNION.
I call that a fine Howdy Do and irony, myself. Here he is a black man, and the forces arrayed against him are: a black mayor, a black States Attorney, and potentially a black Attorney General of the US - all three women.

Its a total zoo because nobody wants to tell the truth. I’m a very conservative christian. I’m in maybe the reddest county of the reddest state in the country. Aside from some of the freepers here, Hannity, and maybe Rush..... I don’t know anyone who believes the cops story, that the guy broke his own neck by intentionally banging his head on the walls of the van. Not one person I know believes that.

I was thinking a circus about six times the George Zimmerman trial.
Like Zimmerman, it looks like the officers have probably been overcharged -- unless they move the trial to the DC suburbs. Even if this gets to a jury, I really don't see a jury of 12 Baltimoreans all agreeing that the officers committed any crime.
