A woman was under arrest Friday, accused of murder for striking and running over a motorcyclist on a busy San Diego highway at rush hour.
Imperial Beach resident Darla Renee Jackson, 26, was driving a black Nissan Altima northbound on Interstate 5 near E Street in Chula Vista at around 5:30 p.m. Thursday.
California Highway Patrol (CHP) officers said Jackson and a man on a red Ducati motorcycle got into some type of disagreement on the roadway.
After the two drivers transitioned from I-5 to eastbound State Route 54 and passed National City Boulevard, Jackson hit the Ducati from behind and ran over the rider, CHP officers said.

Not much detail here. I hope this wasn’t a case of “brake check gone wrong”.
Brake checking is dangerous.
I have been riding since 1973. Not once in those 42 years have I ever brake checked in front on a 4000 vehicle, nor would I. I can’t imagine any rider doing so. The woman is in jail for murder, not rear ending someone who brake checked.
According to Department of Motor Vehicle records, Jackson's license had been restored in January following a two-year suspension for 'lack of knowledge or skill."
Should be Murder 1, she planned on running him down.
A bit too premature, perhaps.
Ya gotta wonder what she did to lose it before. This time she killed.

Not necessarily. Whatever she is, perhaps she thought it was open season on motorcyclists. After all, if Obama’s ATF operatives and their local Waco police puppets can gun down bikers with impunity, why could she run down and kill just one?
No mention at all in the link either. It makes one wonder.

When we rode we got out of the city area as fast as we could and just cruised country roads. We avoided traffic if we could.
