A whopping 34 courageous conservative Republicans shocked the political world on Thursday by severely woundingand nearly killingObamatrade on a purely procedural vote.
Most importantly about this is that the vote passed with less than a majority of the full House of Representatives. Speaker Rep. John Boehner was only able to on a purely procedural vote obtain 217, rather than the 218 votes for a majority, votes for the rule. It passed the House 217-212.
The vote, which nearly failed and would have ended Obamatrade right there, was a necessary procedural hurdlea rulethat was must-pass for Obamatrade to make its way to the House floor for final consideration on Friday. Whats more, the nearly successful effort to kill Obamatradewhich has been lobbied heavily for by House GOP leadership, particularly the programs chief architect Ways and Means Committee chairman Rep. Paul Ryan means that theres blood in the water around Obamatrade everywhere in the eleventh hour.

Hopefully it dies a painful death.
This POS must die. Must die.
I think the fix is in, but I hope it dies. Then they will resurrect it and make a new “deal” and pass it quickly before we find out how bad it is.
Heroes. I wish more “republicans” would grow spines.
Too bad there can’t be scaffolds built overnight outside the House chambers. The hammering might remind some of the Representatives that there are constituents who they need to represent.
It would be nice if the House Freedom Caucus could let us know when they’re going to vote against a rule so we could hammer our Congressmen to join in.

Did Duncan Hunter vote for this debacle? I heard him with Jeff Sessions on Hannity either yesterday or the day before, and he sure sounded adamant about not voting for this agreement.
Looks like Arizona stepped up!
KILL IT for the sake of working Americans and those Americans who would like to work but can’t find jobs thanks to our Muslim down-low poser.
We, dont give credit enough to those on our side. Lets give each of these fine Americans a call tomorrow.
