As expected, Bill Maher has now weighed in on the non-troversy, that erupted this week when Jerry Seinfeld bemoaned the culture of political correctness on college campuses – and Maher went a step farther.
Both Maher and his guest Comedy Central roast master Jeffrey Ross, agreed with Seinfeld, which should come as no surprise to anyone familiar with their work.
The big stunner came when Maher acknowledged that liberals have become so infected by political correctness, that they have been rendered all but incapable of finding his brand of humor amusing. As a result, Maher has had to modify the makeup of his audience.
He explained;
“Liberals are definitely more PC. I used to fight with this audience all the time, because we used to get the audience strictly from liberal sources. Then we got the audience from like everywhere, and I’ve had a much better time the last couple of months.”
How’s that for delicious irony? The only way Bill Maher can guarantee he’ll get some laughs is by packing his studio with uptight, puritanical conservatives.
Kidding aside I am REAL big on Chivalry. That said, Some women really deserve what they get. And I’m not going to mount up the steed and lance someone’s lot over something they brought on themselves.
But when as in the case of Palin, they do NOT deserve it, break out the plate mail.
Taking care of the first problem, then taking care of the beetle-browing gruberment functionaries who would presume to smack you down for your righteous action.
Get video. It would get millions in PPV.
As far as Liberals are concerned, there is one thing that separates us from them, and it’s a very big thing.
While we laugh at Liberals and shake our heads wondering how they can believe what they believe, they look at us and think if they had the opportunity they would be loading us and our Families into Cattle Cars going to the Camps.
No doubt in my mind. Inside every Liberal there is a Fascist screaming to get out. They just hide it like the Aliens did on that old TV show “The Invaders”.
The reason that they outlawed dueling was to preserve the lives of scum like Maher and the Obama-licking gruberment persecutors who really NEED the medicine...
I learned one thing in the media. It’s all pretty much a lie.
That being the case, there is no point in getting too concerned over things. If you saved an orphanage full of kids and a minority died in the fire, you’d be labeled racist for getting any white kid out first.
I look at it this way. I know who I am. I actually had a touch of fame once and hated it. I literally do not GAF what anyone thinks of me. I and the few pwople close to me know what I’m about. I know what they are about. And everyone else does not matter. So if the media would crucify me, I would be fine with it.
I brought this up on another thread but since it’s relavant, I’ll say it here as well. In 99, working at Off-Road.com, I and others on staff busted up a funding deal with Lycos and an ecoterrorist front group. Lycos had no idea who they were dealing with and thought they were getting good green PR.
Later, I got a call from a reader congradulating me on being in Time Magazine.
A couple of us ran across the street to a store and sure wnough, there in the latest issue was a hit i\piece by Time, railing me and ORC as rabid anti Environmentaists.
We then milked it, mocked time for months and gained a lot of non traditional readers for our land use issue coverage.
The point being, they will do everything to destroy you anyway. Use it to your advantage.

More like evidence that people don’t want to see the forest for the trees. If someone wants to discount the content of any post over typos, they should remember Einstein walked around with his shoes untied.
He simply didn’t sweat the details. Didn’t make him illiterate or stupid. But it would anyone calling him stupid less than coherent.
Whatever happened to letting people line up to get tickets to a show like Carson did? In NYC, you could get tickets to David Letterman just by walking by the theater in Times Square. He has to go to “sources” to find an audience? That’s problematic right there.
Not when you want the audience to reinforce the propaganda messages.
I don’t think he’s going for conservatives either. Just more ordinary non-ideological people.

You realize if dueling were legal, or even if the courts were honest; people like Maher would only have a life expectancy of about 9 minutes after they shot their mouths off.
In some cases a lot less than 30 seconds.
