Since a name seems to be everything, it is about time to give a name to a third party for constitutional conservatives to rally around. The Dimwit and RINO GOP-E parties are not doing service to the consitution they swore to uphold.

While we're at it, let's add a platform and principles this party should stand for.

For a long time I've thought that Conservative or Constitutional Party would be good names.

Combining them is even better!

I might make a write in for the Constitutional Conservative Party is Jeb Bush is picked to be the Supreme RINO...even if such a party doesn't exist yet!

I may draw some heat here but the Libertarian party is constitutionally conservative. Obviously that platform doesn’t resonate well with the social conservatives. What you are suggesting is a social conservative (first) party. I agree that it is necessary to define and prioritize platforms though.

If you want to win over lots of people you should name it the Puppy and Kitty Rescue Party and then any time someone criticizes it or refuses to go along we scream about how much they must hate puppies and kitties, forcing our opponents to apologize repeatedly for not stopping animal abuse.

A new political party would be a waste of time and resources. It might work if the system was not so corrupted, but the corruption in our political system is too well entrenched. The normal avenues of political change are no longer available. The elite ruling class, the crony capitalists, the political correctness Nazis, the educational system, the rewriting of history...etc., all stand to make the political system impossible for us. These are not normal times, the Constitution no longer applies, and the law is whatever the left chooses it to be. The people we elect sell us out the moment they get to Washington, D.C.. The last election has convinced me of what many of us already suspected, the nation many of us grew up in is dying a rapid, painful death.

Sooner or later, however, there will be a reordering of things, and I just hope I am still alive to participate.
