My RINO state senator, John Flanagan voted for the draconian SAFE act to restrict NYers 2nd amendment constitutional rights. As a reward, the RINO contingency in the Senate recently voted him in as Temporary President of the New York State Senate
(Yes..in NY republicans have the majority in the state senate).

I thought I could never not vote in an election....but I voted for no one for that seat this past November (there was no Conservative party or libertarian party candidates...just more liberal parties)

Yes, I have been quite discouraged from giving money to any ostensibly conservative Republicans candidates in those special House races that come up from time to time.

Vote for ¡Cheb! ¡Viva Cheb! ¡Viva Cheb!

Would someone please explain how Hastert was able to go from a High School wrestling coach to a man able to pay millions for hush money on a Congressman’s salary?

Term limits at least puts an end to the blackmail and bribery that is going on.

If you are only now beginning to think that there is something rotten in DC you are very late to the party!

Generally I agree completely. The thing is, these guys arent anything but frauds to begin with. They go there specifically to push the left’s agenda in the name of the Right wing.

It’s standard propaganda/infiltration 101. It works because we have a sheep mentality combined with not wanting to admit we let ourselves be duped.

The Illinois Combine and toll road exits, but I’m certain there’s more, much more.

the GOP is run by people and gets contributions from people who don’t care about social issues and don’t share the same values as conservative republicans. they are the RINO wing of the party. they are corporatists and crony capitalists and do the bidding of the chamber of commerce and similar organizations. they are in fact the real republican party. we can delude ourselves all we want that the party of Reagan was the true republican party... but that’s just a lie to make us feel better. Reagan was an aberration. his victories in 1980 and 1984 were squandered on a man who was determined to roll back the conservative tide. George HW Bush ran as a conservative in 1988, but he was no conservative. no conservative runs on a “read my lips, no new taxes” pledge and then abandons that the minute it is convenient. he bartered away that pledge on a promise that the democRATS never intended to keep and never did keep. in essence, he did no better than the indians that sold manhattan for a handful of beads. this is why the GOP is the stupid party, always has been the stupid party, and always will be the stupid party.

this is also why the GOP has participated wholeheartedly in undermining and slandering the Tea Party. they recognize it as a threat to their existence.

i’ve grown to hate the GOP, even though i’ve been registered as a republican for 30 years now. they are losers. they don’t care that this republic is dying so long as they and their friends bloat their bank accounts in the process.

It is the implied characteristic that the MSM and the Dhimmicrats use to describe Republicans. In some areas it is required for election....in others not so much.
Is it a joke? I dunno....the whole current friggin political atmosphere in America has become a joke.

it’s the same story with lots of congress critters... they go to DC to do good, but end up doing well.

Something smells rotten in DC.

An odor as offensive to the olfactories as sun-baked carrion.

The thing is, they don’t need much money. The internet exists. Palin figured out how to use it right.

All these guys still cling to the old ways and it isn’t needed. Basic strategy is to attack where the enemy isn’t there to defend. Going heads yup on traditional media requires billions. Subversive methods/grassroots does not.

Why that is why they go there can’t be known but the undisputed fact is they get wealthy while there.

Something is very wrong. Something smells rotten in DC. Rotten like a dead fish left at the front door of a Congressmen’s office by the Obama Crime Family. Rotten like a photo of a Supreme Court Justice with his robe down at his ankles.

I'll agree something stinks. Real bad.

The Republicans in Pennsylvania have been virtually indistinguishable from Democrats for years.

Part of the problem is that the number of women on the supreme court has reached critical mass and sadly they are all libs. Men of that generation are afraid of women and don’t know how to stand up to them. I know we’re scary but we’re not as a group right on very many things.

They walk up to a key politician like John Boehner or Justice Roberts and they offer both a carrot and stick.

Behind door #1 is continued power and respect. Go along to get along and your legacy is secure. Play nice and a $5 mill/year lobbying job awaits.

Behind door #2 is personal and professional doom, misery if not poverty. “They threaten to expose something terrible like an affair, or corruption, or malfeasance, or immorality that would shock the nation, ruin your career, destroy your legacy, cost you your marriage, destroy your relationship with your children and leave you unemployable by any respectable law firm or lobbyist.”

They are watching everything we do, everything we say, text, email, take out of our bank accounts. They know if we spit on the street. They know if we are having a fight with our spouse. They know what tax deductions we take. They know what stocks we own..."

Ask Dennis Hasert.

Ask General David Petreus- they knew he was having an affair. Now he has a criminal record.

Ask former Virginia Governor Bob McDonnell. He’s going to prison for stuff so minor, it almost makes you laugh.

And yet, Hillary and Bill walk free.
