Discomfort has a name, and it’s MTV’s White People.
The network is serious about its newest documentary from Pulitzer Prize-winning journalist Jose Antonio Vargas, who won the prize for covering the Virginia Tech shootings in 2007. White People tackles the hot topic conversation of white privilege head-on in a special presentation borne out of MTV’s Emmy-winning Look Different campaign.
The doc premieres on July 22 on MTV and follows five young white people from around the country, exploring their notions of racial identity in modern America.

I love all of these attacks on white people. It forces them to come out of their coma and realize that they are in fact white. Once that conversion is complete they will feel no shame in whiping other peoples off the face of the Earth.
A white people show? What do they do? Go to work? Not sell crack? Not play knock out game? Generally follow the rules?
Hardly.
Not when you have to work your a%$ off at two jobs JUST break even because you are supporting yourself AND all the indolent, demanding and ungrateful riff raff on planet earth

There is, without question, "Hispanic privilege" in Mexico.
Those Caucasians of pure Spanish extraction constitute a thin veneer at the top of the class heap, running the country's government, industries, institutions and society -- lording it over the 90% of the population that is Indian or mixed-race Mestizo.
The casting in the soap operas on Mexican TV demonstrate the point.
Hispanic privilege is far more embedded in Mexican culture than is "white privilege" in the USA -- where it is institutionally-denied via "affirmative action".
MTV management deserves to be taken out behind the barn (and whupped) for airing such a blatently dishonest concept.
I remember when there was music on MTV.

Don’t have to. Tijuana moved to my neighborhood courtesy of Dubya, Obama, and the other Open Border elitists running both parties.
Why don’t they just admit that they have a final solution for the white people problem?

I love my white privilege. I worked hard for it all my life. Worked low wage jobs, went to college nights and weekends, bought insurance for my family even when it wasn’t against the law, gave up partying to care for my kids, and insisted that my kids get all of the education that they could. Any person of color who will do the same thing will never have a problem with me. The rest can kiss my white ass.
Of course there are many aspects to the culture. **SCHOOLS** are a major factor. And....I am glad to see that Rush Limbaugh has **finally** begun to address the issue of schooling ( booth K-12 and university).
It is amazing to me, that even here on Free Republic, how many conservatives fail to recognize that government K-12 school is and **always** has been a socialist and single-payer entitlement. It only took one to three generations of socialist single-payer K-12 schooling to give the nation Woodrow Wilson and Franklin D. Roosevelt!
Our nation's K-12 government schools can NOT be reformed. They are a single-payer, compulsory-use, GODLESS socialist-entitlement! Children who attend these schools:
1) WILL learn to think and reason godlessly. They must just to cooperate in the godless classroom.
2) Risk learning that the same voting mob that gives them tuition-free schooling can be used to give them **lots** of “free” stuff.
3) Risk learning to conform to the order of government toadies. If and when tyranny comes to our nation, the fascist oligarchy will not use cattle cars to haul citizen off to the gas ovens. Nope! Instead, they will use big yellow school buses and the shekel will compliantly board them just as their government teachers toadies taught them to do.
Yep! I am shouting.
Christians and conservatives! “WAKE UP!!!!” Remove your kids from these government K-12 indoctrination centers.
Christian and conservative teachers! If you persist in teaching in these evil places, at least warn as many parents as possible to remove their kids.
It's the scene when the cops are trying to stop a riot. One of the cops is standing in front of a chain link fence, separating him from a group of rioters. The cop starts to taunt a group of rioters, who he thinks are safely behind the chain link fence.
He walks along the fence, poking his night stick at them until the chain link stops - and there is nothing between him and the rioters. He then realizes he's in deep Shiite...and runs. One of these days, the taunting minorities will come to the same realization that there is nothing protecting them from the angry white mob.
Japan, as well. No one ever squaks about the lack of diversity and absence of open borders in Japan
There’s white privileges. I can get any basketball job I want and I’m not meadowlark lemon.
All cultures have their dirty linen. All cultures have people within them that are ‘upper class’ and those of ‘lower class’.
America’s method of government was established by a group of white people. That method of government has stood up very well to other governments throughout the world and throughout history.
The MTV series is meaningless if they don’t compare the American government and American society with other governments and societies.
It is also meaningless if it does nothing but bash whites.
Why is not Mexico’s dysfunction not Spain’s problem?
Mtv died long ago. now they just promote homosexuals, gangsta wanabes, and fringe rejects.
