Does this guy get paid by the word. One of the new rules is that written materials should be short and concise. If you can’t get it all in a short paragraph put bullet points headed by the main topic. My attention span is not what it used to be so I can’t get though these long meandering books anymore.

The problem with adopting the enemy’s methods is that you become the enemy. Do we really want conservative judges shredding the Constitution and the law, even if it is for worthy ends?

So the author is saying the only way to preserve conservatism is to abandon it ?

Also, it’s distressing that he’s just now figuring all this out. Anyone who’s been paying attention knows the other side ignored “rules” long ago.

Conservatism is going down the tubes because of infiltration by libertarians and Randians. The longer these ideologies fester, the more entrenched will be the bizarre but growing notion that conservatism stands for greed, avarice and lawlessness. Conservatives have to expel these satanic ideologies out of their midst.

The writer make a point.

Yet the fact remains, the other side has thrown the rulebook out and is winning, regardless of whats happening at the local level.

There is an unfortunate truth to the phrase, “in order to defeat the enemy you become them.”

Yet the fact remains, the other side has thrown the rulebook out and is winning,

People who have no scruples and no conscience, who are willing to do anything for gain, will always have a certain advantage in politics over people who are bound by morals and conscience.

Agree...this is somebody with a well-meaning idea that had to fill up space. No wonder conservative tactics fail if this is the new manual for it.

Why don't they come up with a way to counter the arguments and lies of liberals? Why don't they have a publicized set of rules against Alienski? I suppose that would put the out of business instead of trying to strike a nerve for 15 minutes of fame.

1. Issue waivers for states that want to ban abortions and ban homosexual “marriage”

2. Pass laws that are loaded with stuff dems want so they will vote for it, then just don’t enforce those parts and only enforce the conservative parts.

How many times have you read some snarky trash from a libtard “journalist” that is fraud and lies covering for the corrupt Rats and you just wish you could confront the POS and slap the snark right off his face? Well, that day has arrived. Enjoy!

If there is no law, then, there is no law.

however, if conservatives continue to be lazy and apathetic, it doesn’t matter

Yes. The passage I got stuck hard at was celebrating Roberts’ collusion on the ObamaCare win the first time it came up to the USSC. While one might think the decision was liberating the sense that it should free conservatives from the mores of rule of law and unbiased interpretation, there is a very dangerous aspect to this. What starts out as good intentions can often end in bad policy.

There is truth in the saying that “the road to Hell is paved with good intentions.”

I think it is perfectly fine to completely ignore, belittle and berate ridiculous liberal bleats or RINO ‘concerns’ about dissention, etc., but it is completely something else to adopt the same duplicity they both harbor.

Vehemently standing for your ideals, even to the point of arms is not a bad thing. Rebellion is the ultimate “reset” button. To become your enemy is another.
