Courtney Best normally smokes behind the pizza shop where she works, but on this day she decided to take her smoke break out front, and that decision may have saved a 7-year-olds life.
On July 9 Courtney Best, 26, stepped outside the Papa Murphy's pizza in Corpus Christi, Texas, where she works, for a quick cigarette. Instead of her normal routine of going out back for a smoke, on this day she stepped out front, and the move may have saved a child's life.
"I stepped outside, I was standing by the trash can, and I [saw] a white car pull up, and I just happen to take my phone with me, 'cause we don't look at our phones at work, and I looked down and I saw 'white Dodge Avenger Amber Alert,' and I was like, 'Nah, that's not him,' " Best told KRIS TV.
The Amber Alert was for 7-year-old Nicolas Gomez, who had been abducted from Alice, Texas.
Best told the news station that she saw the man who was with the child, but still wasn't convinced that the person was the suspect.

Wasnt the Boston bomber caught because a guy stepped out for a smoke.
It was a boy that was abducted. Like the Catholic priests and Jerry Sandusky. Nope, nothing to do with abnormal sexuality. Now we must accept them as Boy Scout leaders.
The scumbag:
Had to go to the UK Mail to get it. Not sure if he is an illegal
Bless you, Courtney!
Nope. During the lockdown, the boat owner looked outside and noticed something amiss with his boat. He attributed it to the wind, but still wanted to fix it. So, when they lifted the lockdown, he went outside to take care of it. That's when he noticed further anomalies, peeked into the boat, saw the bloody Joker curled up in a fetal position, and called 911.
Ditto!!
God Bless her!!!!

When 66-year-old David Henneberry stepped outside his Watertown home at 67 Franklin St. to smoke a cigarette just after 6 p.m. Friday, he noticed the tarp covering his boat was flapping in the wind.
