Despite a legal obligation to allow Congress to review the Iran nuclear agreement for 60 days, the Obama administration will press ahead with a U.N. Security Council resolution enshrining the deal, likely within days.

“We will be introducing a U.N. Security Council resolution perhaps as early as next week,” a senior administration official told reporters in a background conference call from Vienna, hours after the final agreement known as the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA) was announced.

The official said the resolution wording had already been drafted in Vienna, with the U.S. in the lead. …

Once again the Constitutional Law “professor” proves the Constitution is a dead letter. No waiting for the Senate to ratify his Treaty, we’re just going to ram it though.

The Republic is dead.

Now I’m reminded of the Council of Governors EO from back in 2010.
“The Imperial Senate will no longer be of any concern to us. I’ve just received word that the Emperor has dissolved the council permanently. The last remnants of the Old Republic have been swept away.”

“That’s impossible…how will the Emperor maintain control without the bureaucracy?”

“The regional governors now have direct control of their territories. …

He’s made it clear that he doesn’t care what Congress does. If they pass it, fine. If they don’t, he vetoes it.

You know this deal sucks out loud, given the pre-emptive veto threat and hurry to get it to the UN.

Obama has to push it now before everyone finds out what’s really in it

Nothing will stop our dictator. Congress is the most ignorant discussing bunch of immature childlike ars that they should just retire to the playpen and enjoy the millions they steal.

That script from Star Wars, presidential appointed governors over territories, was the plan from the Cuban Missile crisis had the missiles actually been fired.

I’ve learned one thing in all of this: my vote is worthless.

It was always his plan to hand this over to the UN to give cover for cutting Congress out of the process - just in case the Corker Cave-In® didn't do the trick. Again, the two digit IQ bolsheviks in the White House run rings around the GOPe.

People still calling collaborations “cave-ins”, just because of the bare minimum of Kabuki theater surrounding them?

““Congress?” What’s a “Congress?” I didn’t know we had one of them”

Congress took themselves out of the equation on the Iran deal.

This is a Republican agreement with Iran - the Republican Senate “pre-ratified” this thing - and now claim to be against it.

What, exactly, is a surprise about this agreement?

Nothing. The Republicans knew what he would do, and now pretend to be unhappy when he does it.

This is a GOP agreement with Iran that sells America and Israel out. Obama was just the wrapper to hand Iran this gift.

“SOMEBODY STOP THIS TRAITOR”

The traitors are the GOP who voted to use an unconstitutional process to ratify this treaty with Iran before it was negotiated. Cruz is among them.

How do you feel now?

Just for his behavior alone Congress should say no.

IMO The whole thing was/is a scam.....a sideshow for the American people when the end result was decided ages ago. Are we so weak as a nation that we can continue to be sold down the river without a squawk or sqeek? WHERE ARE THE WARRIORS? We KNOW where the traitors are!

I can’t justify supporting any Senator that willingly voted to give Iran nuclear weapons (through giving away the right to review the certain anti-American actions of Obama) as outlined under the Constitution for treaty ratification.

If a Senator doesn’t understand his obligations to the American people as a Senator, then he won’t figure it out as President.

I support enthusiastically Trumps political approach - hammer illegal immigration at every turn. He is right. If he makes it to election day discussing just that one issue, I will vote for him.
