To me, the comment is a point in Trump’s favor. He has a direct style. McCain is most irritating. His claim to fame is that he was captured. In one sense, we can thank him for his service. In another sense, he did not actually succeed.
Trump is really driving them crazy.
As much as I don’t like John McCain and believe it is time for him to retire, this was uncalled for by Donald Trump
Murdock is for Jeb.
Steve Hayes has broken through to the big leagues with his regular stint on FOX Special Report, and he’s feeling his oats.
Hayes also is rubbing shoulders in DC with plenty of Establishment, who are very nervous of Trump. I mean, the debates are just around the corner.
I’m not excusing Trump’s remark about any former surviving POW, but it begs the point that affects our entire future as a nation. That point is IMMIGRATION INVASION. This matters far more.
I’ve got absolutely no dog in this fight, but Hayes needs to watch calling ANYBODY a clown.
Trump doesn’t know when to keep his mouth shut.
This is the beginning of the end for him.
Steve Hayes wrote a book in the run up to the 2003 Iraq invasion “proving” that Saddam Hussein” was behind 9/11. He has ZERO credibility and is an embarrassment to FNC.
Figures...Fox News Network, the new CNN...
While I believe Trump’s statements were uncalled for I’m not gonna shed tears for McCain because that man has used a kitchen drawer full of knives to stab us in the back for many years. I think Trump said it on purpose to get a rise out of the media and the GOPe. I say he was successful.
Technically, McCain is a victim.
Trump was wrong in one aspect, about Mc Cain’s service, but he was right on the money that he has become just another big mouth Progressive expecting everyone to overlook his climb to the pit of Hell because of his service.
McCain was nasty and with Trump you have to expect to get nasty back. McCain should have known that.
And his role in the tragedy on the USS Forrestal is murky at best.
If we'd had a serious discussion about his real record, we might not have McCain/Feingold or President Obama.
Now, this chickenhawk clown shoots his mouth off and no one will ever dare bring up the subject again :(
Hayes likes to parrot establishment talking points so this is no surprise. He needs to say such things to keep the cocktail party DC invitations coming in.
I watched the video and have no problem with anything Trump said.
Concerning McCain, I knew he was no good when he hugged Colonel Trang, his NVA torturer, in 1992 and then turned his back on the POW-MIA families, seeking an accounting on the couple of hundred men we KNEW were left behind in Vietnam.
What “war hero” would ever do something like that?
Since then, McCain has been a disaster for the country and for the GOP, with his horrible run for President in 2008 being Exhibit A.
I voted for the girl.
The NVA should have beat that traitorous SOB harder. The only reason they didn’t is because communist can’t do a decent job of anything. Eff McCain, that scumbag has ruined my country.
Generally, I have agreed with Hayes over the years. Recently, however, he has begun to display his more liberal views that I find contra to my views.
Seems Cruz and Trump are bringing the left of center moderates and liberals out of their closets.... regardless of what political party they claim to support.
