Donald Trump largely skipping one of the 'kiss the ring' rituals of nominating process
Hillary Clinton's latest economic pitch, a Jeb Bush critique of Washington, Donald Trump's unorthodox early state strategy and Republican debate musings -- those stories filled our trip around the "Inside Politics" table.
1. Mr Trump, meet Mr. Chairman -- or not
A lot about Donald Trump's campaign for president is unorthodox, so perhaps this shouldn't be a surprise: He is largely skipping one of the "kiss the ring" rituals of the nominating process.

Exactly.
We are all tired of the whoring around in politics.

Not sure if you saw this posted very recently.
It’s and excellent article on Trump and America in decline.
Maybe kissing up to these behind-the-scenes power brokers is what’s been wrong with the establishment politicians.
He is running his campaign exactly like Newt Gingrich did. I imagine it will result in the same.
Your comment sums this is up well.
Trump don't need these insider political rituals.
They're like watching the entrenched corrupt in DC holding their State of Union galas while endlessly applauding totally failed leaders.
Did Gingrich get more than three days of attention?
That’s what you want, so it’s a good thing, right?
Actually voters may know who he is, but they know very little about him. And most of what they know is false - P.R. They don’t know about his work background, they don’t know his positions. They don’t know his cronies or the special interests he’s in bed with. And the media certainly won’t vet him.
Moot point at this point since Trump has now imploded.
During the first debate, Trump should leave off any personal slaps and just let his policy positions, which will differ from most, be the force others have to deal with.
You're right. No Democrat will vote for him now.
Gingrich doesn’t have a reality TV background and wasn’t part of the MSM like Trump is.
That's the best endorsement he could get.
I am pretty sure that Donald is going to know how to handle himself.
Excellent article...thanks for link.
You are crazy, he did not diss anyone except for McCain and that was because McCain dissed 15000 crazies. My prediction ... another bump in the polls for McCain. Everyone I know is loving what he is doing to destroy the GOPe political class.
