The National Football League now has its first female coach.
The Arizona Cardinals scheduled a news conference for today where the team was expected to introduce Jen Welter, who has been hired as an assistant coaching intern for training camp and the preseason to work with inside linebackers, ESPN reports....

If it can work for Pops... She seems to have some pretty solid qualifications. Right now she’s just a training camp coach though, we’ll see if they keep her into the season.

I think a female NBA coach is much more realistic as women play college and professional basketball. There is not much of a pipeline for female football coaches.
The most likely scenario would be a college coach hiring his daughter as an assistant the way many hire sons and her taking over when the father retires.

How many centers, tackles, or tight ends has she penetrated or blocked out to tackle the ballcarrier?
How many receivers has she tackled?
How many interceptions has she made?
How many blitz plays has she run?
