One should never judge by appearances, but just looking at that pic I’d say there’s going to be less nekkidness excitement going on than with Michael Sam. A lot less.
But you know what will be coming....Tranny Cheerleaders....and I am dead serious on that.
Maybe she’s played a lot of Madden on Xbox....
Here’s a better story that actually digs into her past:
http://www.azcardinals.com/news-and-events/article-2/Cardinals-Add-First-Female-Coach/aa370599-8d8e-4e73-85d3-fc77515bf40a
She played football for 14 years in the Women’s Football Alliance.
She’s got a masters in sports psych.
A PHD in psych.
The first woman to play a non-kicking position in a pro football league. She played RB and special teams.
And won two gold medals in international football.
the psych degrees alone gives her a better resume than 90% of the position coaches in the league.
I feel gays and trannys are under-represented. I am sure that’s next for the pc NFL.
That said, she may work out just fine.
Keep this in mind:
The position of LINEBACKER, whether inside, middle, outside or “monster” requires an excess of UPPER-BODY STRENGTH; one must place their hands on the offensive player and push/pull/repel them to gain an advantage.
Physiologically/biologically and even (XX v XY) genetically, females of the species are naturally lacking in the same (UBS). Even among the simians, females do not have sufficient UBS to fend off an aggressive male intent on “natures call”.
Sorry Jen, I just don’t think you will be accepted by your players...but those same players will be “cowed” into accepting you lest they lose their contract.
Cheerleaders, yes.
She’s done that. She was an RB and special teamer in a semi-pro male league.
It’s not made up. But the nature of pre-season and having much larger roster means you bring in a lot of coaches that won’t be there for the regular season, just like the players. It’s interesting to see how this plays out.
Details don’t matter as much as emotions these days. Is she emotionally qualified for the part? Will she sue for sex harassment when things do not go well? Will she be allowed to go in the men’s locker room when they are naked. If not, why not?
These are more important questions than actual experience on the field.
Most coaches can’t actually do what they’re teaching the players. Some could at some point, but even those generally weren’t that good. Most never could, but they learned the techniques and learned how to teach the techniques. Bruce (whose probably hasn’t beaten anybody in an UBS competition in 40 years) says he talked to the veteran players and they were OK with it.
People should jerk their knees less and watch things play out more.
Why? Give the real reason.
Well, since their plan to have a gay NFL player fizzled out, they had to try something else to appease the PC Gods.
No...she hasn’t. RB and SpecTeam players have “special rules” invented for them and, being a SHE, I’m sure the “semi-pro league” had certain dispensations (stated or unstated). Oooooo! She was substring RB and kicker...she must be exceptional because...because...well...vagina!
She lacks the appropriate upper-body strength to exhibit and confirm a boan-fides for “coaching” knowledge for Linebackers.
I dare say that several Class A HIGH SCHOOL players (from any State HS team) Guard/Tackle/Fullback could lay her weak-ass flat on the turf, time after time, play after play to prove it.
To her detriment, she would suffer such indignation WITH PREJUDICE exhibited by the High School players; they would hunt her down and care less whether they got tossed from the team. I know cuz I’ve been there.
Send her to Texas without the implication of Title IX or litigation. Hell, the Permian HS boys would make her retire for lack of desire after August’s 2-per-days.
Better;
Even better:
Well, gee, that’s inspiring... strike the pose!!!
Not.
"Do I even need to say it?"
Nothing but the PC Police pushing the buttons. I bet if she had to take a real hit from a male player she would quit before getting humiliated. Also I bet there will be animosity amongst the players but none will speak out!
Better than average I expect.
At 5-foot-2, 130 pounds, she became the first woman to play a non-kicking position in a men's professional football league in 2014 when she suited up as a running back and special teams player for the Revolution.
Welter has a master's degree in sports psychology and a Ph.D in psychology.
She won gold medals in 2010 and 2013 as a member of Team USA at the IFAF Women's World Championship.
She played rugby at Boston College and played professional football for more than 14 years in women's leagues. She helped the Dallas Diamonds of the Women's Football Alliance win four titles.
