All I can hear is my coach yelling: “Fill that hole, GDit! I don’t care if they throw the entire effin backfield at you, fill that hole!
I did, they did and the 4th man through stepped on my chest on his way to a 15 yard gain.
Jen would litigate sexual harassment for the player “fondling her breasts with his foot”.
Didn’t the Cardinals hire Michael Sam, the first gay football player?
Another token appointment destined to fail?
She’s taken the elbow to the face. That’s what you wanted her to do.
You don’t need upper-body strength to mime through a a proper swim move. There’s a name for coaches that can do what they’re teaching the players to do as well as the player: PLAYER. I haven’t seen a coach in any sport that can actually perform with their. A very small percentage USED TO a decade before coaching, but not anymore.
Bruce Arians played 1 (bad) season as a QB in college, and his first NFL job was RB coach in KC. Clearly he couldn’t perform like an RB, and yet there he was. He’s also been a WR and TE coach. As well as QB coach, working with players dramatically better at the job than he ever was (he coached Peyton Manning). So your whole measurement system is quite frankly wrong. The question isn’t can she do what the players do, no other coach can either. It’s can she teach them, and with 2 psych degrees the answer is “probably”.
Nope. That was the Rams then the Cowboys and then the Allouettes.
Notice your coach YELLED it. He didn’t do it.
lol
actually, LOL
How 'bout out of one?
But sh’d make you practice, practice, practice under the constant threat of being cut from the team...
A woman running for state legislature, a teacher, had her fellow teachers out beating the hustings for her and came to my door.
Her volunteer worker handed me a brochure which stressed the importance of children.
I asked her (also a teacher), “This doesn’t say if she’s married or if she has children. Is she married? Does she have kids?”
Reply: “What does that have to do with anything?”
Me: “It’s pertinent if you want my vote.”
I found out later that she is a bean flicker.
So really all they want to do is to advance the interests of: teachers and lesbians.
What about this 130 pound, 5’2” gir—(ahem)—football player. Is she also a single, childless at 37 years old?
Whenever that info. isn’t provided, particularly when she’s the “very first football coach!” (intern, whatever), well, it’s like learning of some new heinous crime committed by “youths”.
Yeah, I know she doesn’t want my vote and isn’t a criminal, I just want to know.
Never mind Sam. Because of stuff like this I gave up on sports a while back.
Anyone which plays rugby has a huge pair, hanging or not.
Rugby is like tackle football without pads.
Lacrosse Is the same, But Adding Sticks With Which to hit the other guy.
Very shrewd move. The NFL now has a female official and if a man were to get in her face after a bad call, it would be “bad optics”, so you have a female coach to get in the female official’s face if she screws up. Now, the race will be on for other coaching staffs to add female coaches. One might even bring in Goldie Hawn just for effect.
This is why you never bet on the Cardinals.
Add this to the reasons why I’m tuning out the NFL.
Freepers showing their enlightened selves in this thread, I see.
How many receivers has she tackled?
How many interceptions has she made?
How many blitz plays has she run?
That doesn't mean she can't TEACH the skills involved.
She may know her stuff about linebacking from serious study and be well equipped to impart the knowledge to players. Time will tell.
As what? How many middle linebacker positions has she held? How many centers, tackles, or tight ends has she penetrated or blocked out to tackle the ballcarrier?
How many majors has David Leadbetter won? Does that make him a poor golf coach?
Call me a feminist I guess... John Madden never played an NFL game. Just saying, if you really study the game, why can’t you coach?
She does have nicely “toned” arms. (like Michelle)
