Is this supposed to dissuade us?
Only in the mind of a career appeaser of terrorists like Kerry is this an argument against the deal.
But Hanoi John can't help being what he is. And so his anti-deal argument comes down to, "It'll hurt the Ayatollah's feelings."
Reneging on the nuclear agreement, which has the support of the major world powers, would constitute a setback for Washington and justify anti-American animus in Iran.
The ayatollah constantly believed that we are untrustworthy, that you cant negotiate with us, that we will screw them, Kerry said. "[Having Congress vote down the nuclear pact] will be the ultimate screwing.
The United States Congress will prove the ayatollahs suspicion, and theres no way hes ever coming back. He will not come back to negotiate. Out of dignity, out of a suspicion that you cant trust America. America is not going to negotiate in good faith. It didnt negotiate in good faith now, would be his point.
That would be the guy who, after the deal, chants "Death to America".
Maybe it's just me, but I have a sneaking suspicion that Iran wasn't negotiating in good faith to begin with.
Kerry keeps taking the perceived point of view of the enemy. And he whines about how "embarrassed" he will be if the deal is rejected.
And yet Iran knew all along that the deal had to be ratified by Congress. Senator Tom Cotton and other Senators sent a letter to Iran warning of just that. In response, Obama inc. lost their minds and dubbed them the #47Traitors on Twitter.
It was a disgusting and pathetic show from a disgusting and pathetic administration.
Iran and Kerry both knew any deal had to get through Congress. Now Kerry is whining that the Ayatollah won't trust us anymore. But the only trusting party at the table was Kerry. The Ayatollah was out to give us the ultimate screwing.
Despite all the nonsense about "hardliners" and "moderates", the Ayatollah and the so-called moderates were on the same page. They were playing "Good Terrorist" and "Bad Terrorist" with us. We were the ones who had a split between appeasers and national security patriots.
If the Iran Nuke deal goes through, Iran will get nuclear weapons and the Ayatollah will have given us the ultimate screwing. But he'll have to share the credit with Obama and Kerry.
Let’s do it then.
Sounds like a plan.
And that’s bad? Does he really think anyone cares about screwing the Ayatollah?
OOOPPPSSS
That was a hugh mistake... SORRY!
“Islam must seem a paradoxical religion to non-Muslims. On the one hand, it is constantly being portrayed as the religion of peace; on the other, its adherents are responsible for the majority of terror attacks around the world. Apologists for Islam emphasize that it is a faith built upon high ethical standards; others stress that it is a religion of the law. Islam’s dual notions of truth and falsehood further reveal its paradoxical nature: While the Qur’an is against believers deceiving other believersfor “surely God guides not him who is prodigal and a liar”deception directed at non-Muslims, generally known in Arabic as taqiyya, also has Qur’anic support and falls within the legal category of things that are permissible for Muslims.”[1]

Is it just me and my “Irish memory”, or is anyone else still really pissed off at Iran over the hostage crisis 35 years ago?
I’d rather we screw the Ayatollah than our own country. Damn I wonder how much Kerry was going to make off this deal? the way he keeps whining it must be multimillions...
So there.
Just change “Rejecting” to “Accepting” and it’s accurate.
and justify anti-American animus in Iran.
Like it isn’t there already!?!?!
He says that like it's a bad thing...
The only nuclear deal that works for me would be thermonuclear dawn over Teheran and the major nuclear development facilities.
I auditioned for a band called “Catharsis”. Did not get the gig. That was not cathartic, but happy for you.
Based on the way Kerry presented himself and this deal in front of a senate panel, the only logical conclusion is that if Kerry is for the deal, it cannot be good for the United States.
Even more reason to reject it.
What kind of a moron uses language like that?
“Ultimate screwing” ... Wonder what that means in diplomat-speak (i.e., in Kerry’s limited vocabulary)?
