(snip) Jeb Bush
Is there a blander, more boring personality in American politics? The guy looks like the runny yolk of a fried egg. He's trying to be assertive tonight because he's been told he needs to project "passion." But when his lips move, there's still a big blank. Why the heck the major media hails him as the GOP frontrunner is beyond comprehension except that big money has been showering down on him like powdered sugar on a donut. Why do Jeb's smiles remind me of a dimply grandmother? He could and should have been a high school principal. I don't see him on the world stage, holding the line against ISIS. (snip)

I like Camille but she’s off base in some of this analysis. I mean she’s supporting O’Malley - how boring can you get? But while I admire Trump and wish him well in this run, he does need to lose the beetle-brow during debates.
I think of four things when I think of Jeb!, and that is he’s gone non-native in his own HOUSE(!); he has his brothers liar-face; $5.00 gasoline, guaranteed; and Terry Schiavo.
? I used the Fox election app, and in my book he did the worst. Even worse than Christie.
Yep, I saw his nose grow on that stage when he beat his chest about his protecting all life when Governor. He had the singular authority to set the custody of Terry Schiavo to her birth family and did the typical compassionate, moderate thing, PUNTED.
I still say that woman was beaten to withing an inch of her life by the one person that fought the hardest to kill her through legal means. He had no option but to call 911 because he was smart enough to realize a death investigation was far more intrusive than a call for help for an “accident”?
No he did not. Sorry Camille. When I watched Kasich, I saw a Me-Too GOPe clone. Repeating canned lines. In my view he came out worse then he started.
I’m not that fond of Kasich. I’m in Ohio. The economy is still pretty lousy despite all his claims.
That’s a great excerpt. Best description of Bush yet.
His dad was a mailman.
He gave non responsive answers. He didn't really address the questions directly but soft peddled whatever he wanted to say as if it was the answer to the question that was asked.
They live in an insulated bubble of like-minded elitist and have no clue at all, none.
He sunk his campaign when he touted his pro-homo position.
I want someone for president who doesn’t accept evil in any of its forms.
Like Camille. She’s smart and novel. But she’s quite a bit toonie when it comes to politics and whom she supports.
Sounds like big government Huckabee.
I agree. I have two sons living in Ohio and both are looking to leave, after living virtually all of their lives there.
I detest Rubio for lying directly to my face at one of his first campaign appearances in 2010. He told the group gathered in Lake City that his view was that nothing happens until the border is secured. He repeated the same when I asked the question again while he was signing the copy of his “book” (pamphlet) for me. His BS about border security in the “debates” only, and only, comes after all of the illegals are given amnesty, in his co-authored Bill with Schmuckie. Been there, done that, and it is just a promise just like it was in 1986. Lucy; football.
Most of the rest of us understand the nation will not rise and fall on the issue of gay marriage.
It is in the HOLLYWOOD Reporter, Camille, so fantasy is always acceptable.
Only because of his last name.
I don’t remember hearing there were signs of domestic abuse.
So she doesn’t like Trumps game face and flat out accuses him of being in cahoots with the Clintons. Which now puts me in a quandary as I love what Trump is doing, but I also have some grudging respect for Camille Paglia. It’s unlikely that the Clintons have tipped their hand to Camille, as she is persona non-grata to the progressives — who Clinton is establishing as her base so I wonder how she has come to that conclusion and how much truth is in it, as I believe coming from her there is probably some truth to it.
We’ll see. Maybe Trump has tapped into something so strong that he’ll overcome his stupid statement vis-a-vis ‘or wherever’ and come out the stronger. Perhaps he’s leading the great non-political correctness push-back we’ve all been waiting for.
