I say it was part of Cruz's stratagem and Trump just hasn't gotten around to it yet. If Cruz teams with Trump it will show that he isn't the Christian he portrays himself to be, but I sincerely doubt that to be the case, so I do not see him joining Trump. As the Bible says:

"Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? and what communion hath light with darkness?"

I think it’s pretty obvious. Occam’s razor. Of course several folks will want to add a layer of complexity that doesn’t exist. And that’s fine. We’ll see in the fullness of time.

It’s because Cruz stands to pick up all the disgruntled voters who are going for trump when trump flames out or gets torn down by some scandal-

Cruz is much like trump inthat he commands the respect of people who are fed up with businesss as usual in government, only cruz is a professional while trump is a one shot wonder who will likely fizzle out as people begin to realize he really isn’t presidential material
