Donald Trump on WDBJ-TV shootings: ‘This isn’t a gun problem; this is a mental problem’

Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump said in the wake of Wednesday morning’s shooting deaths on live TV of a reporter and videographer in Virginia that it isn’t a gun problem but a “mental problem.”

Asked Thursday on CNN’s “New Day” if he would do something different about gun policy, Mr. Trump said: “Well, I don’t think I would, because this is really a sick person. This isn’t a gun problem; this is a mental problem.”

“Frankly, you know, a case like this, he snuck up on ‘em. Whether it was a gun or a knife or whatever it would have been, it would have been something,” Mr. Trump said. “But you know, you’re not going to get rid of all guns, so I know one thing: if you tried to do it, the bad guys would have ‘em, to use an expression, and the good folks would abide by the law. They’d be hopeless and. … it would be a hopeless situation for them, and I think it’s a big mistake.”

Back in the day, homosexuality automatically disqualified an individual from obtaining a government security clearance, working with children (hello, Boy Scouts? anybody there?) or obtaining a firearm.

There were solid, scientifically proven reasons for such restrictions, but the events you described swept them all away for the sole purpose of unleashing homosexuality upon society as ‘just another lifestyle choice’ which is 100 percent absolute horseshit.

Now if THAT doesn't demonstrate a mental disorder, what does?

At the least, it demonstrates a depraved indifference to life, a reflection of the homosexual mindset that "if everyone had AIDS, they would find a cure for it, instead of just endless medication", at the worst it reveals the fatalistic perspective that homosexuals have, they know they are doomed both physically and spiritually, and they want to drag as many people down with them as possible.

It is ironic that of all the nations in the Western Hemisphere, only one, a Communist dictatorship 90 miles from our shores, led by a bearded, America-hating sack of sh*t, had the common sense to put AIDS infected individuals into quarantine and keep them there.

It was never a political issue (although it was turned into one here in the U.S.), it was a public health issue.

My own position on abortion has evolved somewhat, in the past I bought into the whole 'exception for rape or incest' meme but the fact is, NO unborn child is responsible for the circumstances of their conception. If the mother was the victim of rape or incest, they should be given the option of placing the child for adoption if they do not wish to raise it as their own (a perfectly understandable sentiment).

But to murder an unborn child based upon who the father is, is still a barbaric act, and I cannot condone it under any conditions. "The Lord giveth, and the Lord taketh away" and we would be better served to trust Him when it comes to issues like this, in other words:

The best abortion, is NO abortion (under ANY conditions), the only possible exception in my mind, would be if the life of the mother was truly physically endangered by continuing a pregnancy and those situations are far and few between AFAIK.

Weird how the media report this all the time and yet how many shootings happened in the same day?

When their own gets hit they report 24/7 as if their lives are worth more than the average guy on the street
