Trump just last week said that all concerns regarding Cruz’s birth issues have been resolved to his satisfaction as to any legalities, and that it is not an issue anymore as far as he, Trump, is concerned. So basically Trump believes it is not now a relevant topic. He won’t say the same for Obama though, lol.

Their arguments tend to be very emotional and fail to persuade anyone. The latest Jeb talking point is that Trump is not a conservative because he wants to build the wall.

But I think JimRob’s point is well taken -
We could wait till hell freezes over before finding a “traditional” candidate who can browbeat the media the way Trump does.
And don’t forget one other thing - Success in business is usually dependent on choosing the right people. Trump doesn’t have to be an expert in everything if he picks guys like Cruz, Alan West, Palin and others for significant roles where they have got the expertise.
Imagine a VP Cruz with West as SecDef and Palin in charge of HHS (just for the purpose of eliminating as much of it as possible.)
