At Reagan's alma mater, Walker expected to foreshadow national plan for sweeping labor changes

Presidential candidate and Gov. Scott Walker will speak this morning at the alma mater of his political hero, Ronald Reagan, about his Day One Plan for the White House.

In a speech this morning at Eureka College in Eureka, Ill., Walker also is expected to foreshadow a plan he'll lay out in greater detail Monday, which will outline how he plans to address labor issues nationally.

I don’t understand....Walker can’t take a position on the refugee issue because he isn’t President yet....but can tell us his Day One plans on another topic?

The Day One plans must have been vetted by his consultants...but apparently he isn’t capable of taking a position on an issue without running it by his consultants.

“Scott Walker: We’re ignoring the core problem

The Wisconsin governor and GOP candidate told reporters on Monday that talking about Syrian refugees addresses “the symptoms and now that the core problem is.”

“The core problem is the Obama-Clinton doctrine... that has empowered ISIS to take the territory they have in Iraq and continue to have the pretense they have in Syria,” he said from the campaign trail in New Hampshire. “We need to push back, and we need a president [that on] Day One is going to send a clear message by lifting the political restrictions on our military personnel and at the same time by terminating the Iran deal, which is a bad deal... Ceding power to Iran and that region only empowered ISIS and other forms of radical Islamic terrorism.”

After being attacked by outlets such as MSNBC, Mother Jones magazine and the Huffington Post, Walker stayed the course, telling the Quad City Times on Friday that American workers had to come first.

“A couple years ago, when the unemployment rate was at incredibly high levels and labor participation was low, why would we want to flood the market with more workers?” he said. “So that would be a time when you would have arguably less. As the unemployment rate goes down and labor participation rates go up, the two have to go hand in hand. Then it could be conceivably more than we have today. So it’s not a set number.”

Walker also has lowered taxes, expanded gun rights, revoked instate tuition for illegals (only gov/state to do this), enacted Voter ID, downsized number of government employees, frozen university tuition, suing EPA, Obamacare, and Obama’s immigration EO [off the top of my head].

Oh and that’s since he was 1st elected in 2011 and in the midst of a 5 year secret John Doe witch hunt and a recall election [only governor to win a recall election].

I would like to hear more of this from other candidates, hopefully Walker can get the conversation going. I worked for a public employee union and I found out first hand the damage they are doing to this country and the states that they control.
