Presidential candidate and Gov. Scott Walker will speak this morning at the alma mater of his political hero, Ronald Reagan, about his Day One Plan for the White House.
In a speech this morning at Eureka College in Eureka, Ill., Walker also is expected to foreshadow a plan he'll lay out in greater detail Monday, which will outline how he plans to address labor issues nationally.

One trick pony.
I’d like to see the NLRB defunded, disbanded, and scattered to the winds.
Yes!
Its always been my point about public sector unions.
Why do they need a union when they work for the enforcer of the law?
Protect American jobs from foreign workers. Here is an opportunity to lay out a plan similar to Trump’s including reducing legal immigration.
I don’t understand....Walker can’t take a position on the refugee issue because he isn’t President yet....but can tell us his Day One plans on another topic?
The Day One plans must have been vetted by his consultants...but apparently he isn’t capable of taking a position on an issue without running it by his consultants.
Thats the only thing that makes sense to me.
Like jumping the Union Grand Canyon.
[400 reference cites] The 2011 Wisconsin protests were a series of demonstrations in the state of Wisconsin in the United States beginning in February involving at its zenith as many as 100,000 protesters opposing the 2011 Wisconsin Act 10, also called the "Wisconsin Budget Repair bill." Subsequently, anti-tax activists and other conservatives, including Tea Party advocates, launched small pockets of counter protests. The protests centered on the Wisconsin State Capitol in Madison, with satellite protests also occurring at other municipalities throughout the state.
Demonstrations took place at various college campuses, including the University of WisconsinMadison[ and the University of WisconsinMilwaukee. After the collective bargaining bill was upheld by the Wisconsin Supreme Court on June 14, the number of protesters declined to about 1,000 within a couple days.
The protests were a major driving force for recall elections of state senators in 2011 and 2012, the failed recall of Governor Scott Walker in 2012 and a contentious Wisconsin Supreme Court election in 2011.".......
Scott Walker: Were ignoring the core problem
The Wisconsin governor and GOP candidate told reporters on Monday that talking about Syrian refugees addresses the symptoms and now that the core problem is.
The core problem is the Obama-Clinton doctrine... that has empowered ISIS to take the territory they have in Iraq and continue to have the pretense they have in Syria, he said from the campaign trail in New Hampshire. We need to push back, and we need a president [that on] Day One is going to send a clear message by lifting the political restrictions on our military personnel and at the same time by terminating the Iran deal, which is a bad deal... Ceding power to Iran and that region only empowered ISIS and other forms of radical Islamic terrorism.

Wisconsin Gov. Scott Walker on Wednesday said he opposes the U.S. opening its borders to take in more refugees from Syria.
No, we shouldnt be taking on any more Syrian refugees right now, he said at the Governors Small Business Summit in Eau Claire, Wis., according to Wisconsin Public Radio.
In the last year, America has received almost 70,000 refugees, of which nearly 2,000 are from Syria, the 2016 GOP presidential candidate said. Weve spent something like $4 billion in humanitarian relief in terms of helping the situation in Syria.
So, were doing more than any country in the world and its got to be clear that the problem that has to be addressed is not the refugee issue thats a symptom, the real problem is this administration fails to deal with taking on ISIS, added Walker.
Nice copy paste. Still only get points for one trick.
Scott Walker Lays Out Pro American Worker Stance on Immigration
"Walker is now the only potential or declared GOP presidential candidate to discuss the negative effects of a massive increase in legal immigration on American workers:
In terms of legal immigration, how we need to approach that going forward is sayingthe next president and the next congress need to make decisions about a legal immigration system thats based on, first and foremost, on protecting American workers and American wages, because the more Ive talked to folks, Ive talked to Senator Sessions and others out therebut it is a fundamentally lost issue by many in elected positions todayis what is this doing for American workers looking for jobs, what is this doing to wages, and we need to have that be at the forefront of our discussion going forward.
APRIL 2015:
Conservative Media Rallies to Walker After Tough Talk on Legal Immigration
"The conservative movements leading media icons lined up to back Scott Walker after the media attempted to lynch him for talking tough on immigration. After being attacked by outlets such as MSNBC, Mother Jones magazine and the Huffington Post, Walker stayed the course, telling the Quad City Times on Friday that American workers had to come first.
A couple years ago, when the unemployment rate was at incredibly high levels and labor participation was low, why would we want to flood the market with more workers? he said. So that would be a time when you would have arguably less. As the unemployment rate goes down and labor participation rates go up, the two have to go hand in hand. Then it could be conceivably more than we have today. So its not a set number.
Walker also has lowered taxes, expanded gun rights, revoked instate tuition for illegals (only gov/state to do this), enacted Voter ID, downsized number of government employees, frozen university tuition, suing EPA, Obamacare, and Obama’s immigration EO [off the top of my head].
Oh and that’s since he was 1st elected in 2011 and in the midst of a 5 year secret John Doe witch hunt and a recall election [only governor to win a recall election].
Big deal.
Walker speaking today at Eureka College in IL; Will out line his Day 1 plan.
FReep Mail me if you want on, or off, this Wisconsin interest ping list.
I would like to hear more of this from other candidates, hopefully Walker can get the conversation going. I worked for a public employee union and I found out first hand the damage they are doing to this country and the states that they control.
You got my vote. Shut down all government employee unions while you’re at it.
Day One plan for the next POTUS is reversing 10,000 Federal rules and 5000 Executive Orders. And firing about 200,000 bureaucrats.
