GOP presidential candidate Carly Fiorina said that neither she nor any other person in leadership was aware that a contractor was violating the U.S. sanctions against Iran when she was CEO of Hewlett-Packard.
Appearing on "Fox News Sunday," Fiorina was asked about the issue by host Chris Wallace.
"In fact, the SEC investigation proved that neither I nor anyone else in management knew about it," Fiorina said. "When the company discovered this three years after I left, they cut off all ties. The SEC investigated very thoroughly and concluded that no one in management was aware."
Wallace noted that the company was making sales to Iran, and the subsidiary was named "wholesaler of the year."
Fiorina said HP was a large company and it was impossible to know everything going on within the company.

Not long ago I saw some video of computer programers in North Korea. They were using DELL computers.
What, she didn’t know until she read it in the papers? We already have that type leader.
Yes, she talks her way into jobs she can’t perform.
Unless they are from the Nobel committee.

You KNOW Trump would not get away with such a thing.
He won’t need to. He’s a good businessman. Responsible and smart
You KNOW they’re searching high and low for this. It was easy to find with her.
anyone dreaming that they’re not sending the lowest of the low in to scrape up dirt like this on Trump, is not paying attention
Wallace has to talk about it. And she’s their best offensive linebacker at the moment. You know they hate having to do this. They have to though
She is so out of Trump’s league. They’re going to get crazy, fox. They won’t join Trump. They’ll have years of this. Just trying to thwart him.
Shakespeare would be loving this. It’s like watching Derek Jacobi and Judi dench. Wallace is marlon Brando, ‘listen folks I’m just telling you what’s going on, I have no ulterior motive’.
Who needs ‘walking dead’?
Could this possibly, just possibly, be a case of...plausible deniability? Perhaps. It’s a tactic used often by the current resident of the white hut.
The “BUCK” stops where, Sweetie?
Ignorance is no defense.
Looks like the media’s golden girl has served her purpose and is about to get thrown under the bus.
Does anyone have the details of the case being referred to here? Depending upon how significant the contractor was to HP its likely someone in management knew about the violation. It would be their job to - anyone down to the buyer level would intuitively know that dealing with Iran was a big no-no.
What about questions about bribing Russian officials (among many many others since 2000) that the company was recently fined 56 million dollars over..?
And not a minute too soon. I can’t stand looking at, hearing or reading about her.
FioRINO Pleads The Fifth!
So she’s UNABLE to surround herself with competent people not afraid to speak up, I guess. That would my generous interpretation of all this.
If I wanted a president who “didn’t know” and who pleads ignorance, I’d vote for Hillary who is an expert at ignorance and incompetance.
CEO HUH??
She is a quick study on the “I dontnonuffin” lies of Obama.
seems to be a full court press against those trailing trump in the polls.........coincidence???
LOL
