The government obviously doesn’t understand the difference between a cigarette and an e-cigarette.

Big government statist socialism/fascism. When Trump gets elected he’s gonna make SURE we can have e-cigs any time and place we damn want to.

Second hand smoke doesn’t even cause cancer. They played with the stats here to suit their agenda. Even the WHO from the UN doesn’t call it a carcinogen.
So now, they are forbidding a fake version, or something that doesn’t cause a problem anyway.

There needs to be a National Park policy to protect the public from incompetence of government bureaucrats.
To: redreno
That's a stupid decision but not unexpected from Washington bureaucrats.

Liberals and leftist tyrants hate freedom.
They cannot stand to see people free to do things the liberals and leftists don’t control.

A National Park Service spokesman told U.S. News that if a park superintendent decides to restrict outdoor smoking for reasons such as preventing forest fires, that restriction would now also apply to electronic cigarettes. However, U.S. News said it's unclear if an electronic cigarette had contributed to a wildfire, and American Vaping Association Trade Group President Gregory Conley said the new restrictions are a bad idea and should not be enforced.

Gee, that was really worth the Interior Department jumping right on.
These idiots don’t seem to realize that a lot of people use e-cigs as a step-down method to eventually quit smoking.

No vaping? Does this mean old faithful is put of buisness?

Headline:
"Use of e-cigarettes now banned in all national parks"
The article's first sentence:
The National Park Service announced Monday that the use of electronic cigarettes is now banned anywhere tobacco smoking is prohibited in the national parks.
Aren't there "smoking area"s in National Parks?

Good thing the government does banned important things like guns on National Parks!!!! , ..... what's that.... really?... take that back
To: redreno
Smoking represents some sort of liberty thing to the government with people doing the thing that government has tole them they shouldn’t. Therefore everything that looks like smoking must be ruthlessly suppressed. Soon chewing on a pencil must be banned on all federal and most city property.
