A STUDENT union diversity officer who once is claimed to have tweeted with the hashtag 'kill all white men' will appear in court accused of sending a racially motivated malicious communication.
Bahar Mustafa, 28, student union Welfare and Diversity Officer at Goldsmiths University in London, sparked outrage earlier this year when she appeared to ban all men and white people from attending an equality event which she organised.
The public outcry resulted in almost 21,000 people signing a petition for her to be removed from her post, having claimed that she "encouraged or expressed hatred" based on "race, gender, or social position".
Scotland Yard confirmed today that Mustafa has been summoned to appear at Bromley Magistrates' Court on two charges, relating to messages sent between 10 November 2014 and 31 May 2015.
While advertising an equality event on Facebook in April, Mustafa is claimed to have wrote: "Invite loads of BME Women and non-binary people!!
"Also, if you've been invited and you're a man and/or white PLEASE DON'T COME just cos I invited a bunch of people and hope you will be responsible enough to respect this is a BME Women and non-binary event only."
She also is accused of tweeting with the hashtag #killallwhitemen.
“Diversity officer” is the same as the old Soviet political officer. In one of my former employers they made them “ethics officers.” They are there to enforce political correctness. (I think they made them ethics officers because they already had a diversity manager and an inclusion specialist. They were running out of New Speak words.) By the way, does anybody know what “non-binary” or “Cis” means?

When the Marxist created the word “homosexual” in the later 19th century, it was to normalize the unnatural and irrational and destroy moral formation in children. All behavior is learned and habituated—as are ALL unnatural “desires”. A baby is NEVER born with a desire to rape a goat....or an anal cavity. That desire is posited, usually by being actually raped and abused—but can also be from emascualtaion-—a warping of Reality by no father role model or abusive, controlling emasculating mothers or by peers who reject the child.

"Cis" is a made-up word that I am mocking (see tagline). I don't know about the non-binary thing. Maybe it's for people that don't understand TCP/IP V4 addressing and subnetting.
In a statement read out to fellow students, she accused the media of embarking on a “witch hunt and shameful character assassination”.
She said: “There have been charges laid against me that I am racist and sexist towards white men.
“I, an ethnic minority woman, cannot be racist or sexist towards white men, because racism and sexism describe structures of privilege based on race and gender.
“Therefore, women of colour and minority genders cannot be racist or sexist, since we do not stand to benefit from such a system.”
Mustafa recently graduated from Goldsmiths with an MA in gender and media studies.
She is understood to live with her mother Nursen, 55, father Ismail, 57, and sister Ipek, 23, in Enfield in a £450,000 three-bedroom terrace.
