Yes, the Terps for Bernie love Bernie. But just as important in this race, many just don't like Hillary. What young and idealistic college student would? Sanders inspires their passion about inequality, about climate change, money in politics, gay rights. Clinton doesn't.

I have read the “Roosevelt Myth” by Joseph Flynn which I would recommend reading. Flynn covered Roosevelt from 1932 till 1945 and wrote the unvarnished truth about Roosevelt and his Policies. Yes I agree his rhetoric and polices in the 1930’s were the foundation of the Welfare State and a great deal of the so called “Brain Trust” were academics who were Socialists and even Communists. But I believe that Sanders, Hillary and that ILK really go further than even some of those in the 1930’s. These people seem to feel there is no limit to the amount of Government that should be in our lives and Sanders unlike Hillary frankly admits to being a Socialist and a Anti-Capitalist. The Anti-Business crowd of the 1930’s ain’t got nothing compared to this bunch.
I have been saying on here for about six years now that 2016 is going to be all about Populism.
Apparently a Populist Socialist (Sanders) vs. a right-leaning Populist (Trump).

I have asked s couple of kids what is the point of “free tuition” or, even, having a great job if you are paying 60%, 75% of your earnings in taxes? What’s it matter if you are the dog catcher or a doctor at that point? To feed your ego?

She has since had a helluva time delivering on that promise, but it certainly got her elected.

Yes, HRC knows she is rich. She knows that really rich people, like the top 2% the lefties are demonizing, have choices regarding where they put their money and how to avoid paying those taxes. She knows that because of this, the burden of her spending will fall to those NOT in the top 2%, IOW’s, the middle class.
She can barely keep a straight face when she says stuff like this because so many people believe it will work. She will say ANYTHING to get elected and when she knowingly spews this B.S. she almost always laughs because it works so well.

Upon further review, I think you're right. Stalin was ruthless and had his enemies "eliminated," he would drink a lot (but expected his toadies to drink more), and was a lesbian, too. But he was trapped in a man's body.
