Its not that the truth about bin Ladens death is unknowable; its that we dont know it. And we cant necessarily console ourselves with the hope that we will have more answers any time soon; to this day, the final volume of the C.I.A.s official history of the Bay of Pigs remains classified. We dont know what happened more than a half-century ago, much less in 2011.

Interesting.....but,
the SEALs threw his remains out of their helicopter.
IMHO I would expect SEALs to be more professional than this even with OBL....

These false stories couldnt have reached the public without the help of the media. Reporters dont just find facts; they look for narratives. And an appealing narrative can exert a powerful gravitational pull that winds up bending facts in its direction. During the Iraq war, reporters informed us that a mob of jubilant Iraqis toppled the statue of Saddam Hussein in Firdos Square. Never mind that there were so few local people trying to pull the statue down that they needed the help of a U.S. military crane. Reporters also built Pvt. Jessica Lynch into a war hero who had resisted her captors during an ambush in Iraq, when in fact her weapon had jammed and she remained in her Humvee. In an Op-Ed essay in The Times about the Lynch story in 2003, it was Bowden himself who explained this phenomenon as the tendency to weave what little we know into a familiar shape often one resembling the narrative arc of a film.
. . . by their own admission.

People don’t believe the story because it is illogical. Why shoot him at all? Why bury him at sea? Why dump him out of the helicopter? Did he have no value as a prisoner? Was he so out of the loop that there was no information they could have gathered from him?

September 20, 1940 we broke the Japanese code but somehow missed the messages from and to the Naval fleet headed to Pearl. Where did the work on the decryption take place? Pearl Harbor. Of course FDR wouldn’t have done something like allow our nation to be attacked, he was no Obama after all.

The Seals died when their Chinook was shot down by an anti air missile while they were on a rescue mission. You see the scene of what happened in the Movie “Lone Survivor”.
No conspiracy by Obama, no dark plot. It's war. These things happen

Never mind that there were so few local people trying to pull the statue down that they needed the help of a U.S. military crane That right, ignore all the Video footage, these Leftist bigots with an extremist political agenda know the "real" story of what happened. Who are you going to believe THEM or your own eyes?

America would have liked to have seen the body. Or at least put the dead guy on parade.
There were so many imposter Bin Ladens it was hard to keep track of them all. How can you be sure it was the right one when his body was dumped out to sea?
Doesn’t matter anyway I suppose. Apparently the man died of kidney failure years ago. Not a very noble way to kick the bucket as a terrorist, so it’s all good either way in my book.

All I know is they should have taken him alive, sent him to Gitmo for proper waterboarding and thrown him off the Top of the new WTC Building... WHAT? ARE YOU NUTS?
If Osama bin Laden had been taken to Gitmo - Obama and democrats would have traded him for some two bit deserter and sent him back home.

This article provides no new information. It suggests that there *could be* more to the story, but it also suggests there isn’t.
Call me cynical, but what I took away from the article is that it was a not-so-subtle hint to Obama that his bootlicking media thugs want the Bay of Pigs documents unclassified as payment in kind. Now that Obama has normalized relations with Cuba, they think it’s time to throw open the curtains and take a look around.

Yep I agree completely with you. I suspect if this gains any ground politically the photos and the autopsy report will mysteriously be “leaked” to the media.
Bin Laden was not “dumped out of the helicopter” by the Seals. He was taken back to the ship and properly identified and photographed.
We need to keep our eyes on the real crimes being committed by the 0 regime, not get distracted off on these bunny trails that are ultimately pointless.

I have always believed that Bin Laden was killed in the bombing at Tora Bora and that the information was not released because he made a good boogie man for the war on terror.
Nothing about the Obama story of the death of Bin Laden sounded true to me.

I believe Bin Laden was too paranoid to hide in one place for five years unless his safety was assured. I think U.S. intelligence knew his location as far back as 2007. The U.S. in 2008 began secret negotiations with Pakistan and Saudi Arabia to bring bin laden to justice. Pakistan didn't want the world to know they had protected bin Laden nor did they want to be blamed for his capture or death. Public backlash could destabilize the government. The Saudis were afraid of bin Laden being interrogated and put on trial. He could have implicated his Saudi financiers and enablers. So any resolution had to end in bin Laden’s death. I think these talks went on all the way up to the Abbottabad raid.
In Obama’s 2008 campaign rhetoric he said: “And if we have Osama bin Laden in our sights and the Pakistani government is unable or unwilling to take them out, then I think that we have to act and we will take them out.” I think the fact that bin Laden was alive in Pakistan was leaked to Obama by some U.S. intelligence official.

Bean Bag him and transport him to GITMO under cover of night.
Was it really too much adrenaline?
