Watch: Gowdy FINALLY Had A Chance To Confront Hillary To Her Face, And He Made It Count
Western Journalism ^ | October 22, 2015 | Randy DeSoto

Chairman of the House Select Committee on Benghazi Trey Gowdy wasted no words while explaining clearly and convincingly the purpose of the committee’s investigation and the reason former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton was called to testify on Thursday.

“Madame Secretary, I understand some people — frankly in both parties — have suggested this investigation is about you,” Gowdy said in his opening statement. “Let me assure you it is not. And let me assure you why it is not. This work is about something much more important than any single person. It is about four U.S. government workers, including our Ambassador, murdered by terrorists on foreign soil. It is about what happened before, during, and after the attacks that killed these four men.”

The chairman was clearly seeking to refocus the public’s attention on why the committee was established following Majority Leader Kevin McCarthy’s gaffe late last month, which Hillary Clinton and supporters used to argue the Republicans are mainly seeking to hurt her presidential bid through the investigation.

“Not a single member of this Committee signed up for an investigation into you or your email system. We signed up because we wanted to honor the service and sacrifice of four people sent to a foreign land to represent us – who were killed – and do everything we can to prevent it from happening to others,” he said.

Believe the Gowdy is killing her — slowly, but surely. The left (the Dems) just sit there and keep repeating the same lies over and over.

It's not an accusation. It's a fact.

So, in your putative "mind" pointing out that you've been played by the Clintons makes me a Clinton supporter.

O.

K.

Sorry, I thought I was addressing someone more intelligent.

Gowdy and Jim Jordan nailed Hillary to the Wall.

Rep Susan Brooks of Indiana was pretty good too.

Oh yes. I’m a Clinton plant. /s (which shouldn’t be necessary but still...you seem to think something will happen with these hearings so you might be kind of out of touch or something)

Check my posting history.

Just you try to explain to the average voter WHY, IF, Clinton did something illegal she isn’t in prison.

These hearings will do nothing but help her with the ‘poor little me’ persona.

The uniparty (who supports Hillary and/or Jeb, they don’t care which really) benefits exclusively from these hearings.

For reasons I outlined in my previous post.

She’s not going to do jail time. She won’t be fined. Neither will any of her minions.

These hearings are to shut up the conservatives who want ‘something done’ and to give Hillary a talking point with the electorate.

Maybe we should start asking why the Obama regime and Hillary Clinton were arming Al Qeuda terrorists in Lybia. Arming the same terrorists who turned around and murdered our personnel at the compound?

You know why he ‘has nothing’ Fred? Because the wants to have nothing. His intent is to have nothing. His JOB is to have nothing. Thats what a whitewash IS fred. Not a Clinton “IS”. a real one.

You could put a randomly picked Freeper on that floor and they would ask 20 questions that fraudboy studiously avoided. Crap so obvious even non lawdogs can se them with crystal clarity.

Now why do you suppose that is?

The friends might be ‘morons’ but they have no power to convict her of anything.

That power lies in and with congress.

Who, I might add, is overwhelmingly Republican right now.

So don’t blame my moron friends when she skates, blame the Republican party.

” This way people get the pressure relief valve they need, the agenda goes ahead and no one in DC is held to account.”

And it fools a lot of Republicans, even some well meaning conservatives who don’t understand power politics.

They don’t understand power at all. I often recommend “The 48 laws of power” by Robert Greene. It would open a lot of eyes if people would take the time to read and understand it. Very heavy reading but life changing on ones perspective.

I wonder if Obama knew the extent that Sidney Blumenthal was involved and the nasty things said about the DOD.

The only thing I have to say to the average voter about why she isn't in jail is: "She's filthy rich, and connected, and you know people like that never answer for their crimes."

The average voter has an IQ of 100. That is damned stupid, and there's no reason to tell them anything to except on their level.

If you're unable to effectively communicate with your friends, that's your problem, not a problem with investigating wrongdoing per se.

“The freaking OJ trial didn’t take this long. We go weeks between hearing squat and when we do it’s about someone taking the 5th, Hillary setting terms or the rest. Oh and Gowdy writing a sternly worded letter.”

Like I posted yesterday, the more Hillary ran away from this inquiry, the slower Gowdy ran after her.

As Rush said nothing will come of this considering the low information voter base.

Yup. My 29 year old (lefty) daughter angrily texted me "why are they harassing her?"

The cover-up was the worst. And when Hillary told a family member of one of the fallen that the person that made the video will be dealt with, I believe, is a horrible affront to our freedom of speech. She would impose sharia law on us apparently.

The REASON they won’t do anything is that they’re ALL up to their ears in Benghazi.

They’re terrified of the ‘friendly fire’.

The exact SAME reason they didn’t DO anything about Clinton. Because too MANY of them had the same darned problem (Newt, Hastert and who knows how many other were diddling bigtime on the side and were ‘controlled’ with this information)

I’m just amazed after the kabuki that was the impeachment in the 90’s that ANY freeper would think ANYTHING would come of ANY of this.

We will get rolled.

Again.

Just watch these hearings. It’s happening before our eyes...

And when they’re over we’ll get told ‘See, we did something. Now shut up!’. And Benghazi and the dead and the arms that went to ISIS from there will be ‘in the past’ and never to be spoken of again.

I haven’t read it either, but I will now. Sounds interesting.
