The Most Likely Next President Is Hillary Clinton (BARF Warning)
Real Clear Politics ^ | October 26, 2015 | Mark Halperin

A virulent strain of Clinton Derangement Syndrome, which scientists and Republicans thought had been wiped out at the end of the last century, is now inflicting millions of conservative Americans. Some Republicans so detest Hillary Clinton they are badly underestimating how likely she is, at this point in the campaign, to be America’s 45thpresident. Their denial is just as strong now as it was a month ago, before Clinton began a run of political victories that have enhanced her prospects, all while the roller derby/demolition derby that is the Republican nomination contest has continued to harm the GOP’s chances of winning back the White House.

The more such a prediction like this one is said, the less likely Hillary will get elected.

I’m afraid he’s correct. The DNC seems very confident they can drag her across the finish line with promises of free sh**. Particularly student loan forgiveness.

When the MSM admits Barack Obama with Hillary Clinton covered up the Benghazi terrorist attack, that killed a US Ambassador and 3 other US citizens, with their video lie for pure political reasons, 6 weeks before the 2012 Presidential Election, then I’ll re-evaluate my low opinion of them.

I doubt it - the operative term with both Republicans and Democrats is “enthusiasm.”

Compared to Obama, there is a lot less enthusiasm for Hillary. She’s boring. If Trump runs against her, I think she’s going to get destroyed. Carson, he’ll win, but not as strongly. Cruz, also, will destroy her.

I think the untrustworthy-ness that people see in her will dissuade much of the independents.

The ferociousness and deep pockets of gladiators Donald Trump and Ted Cruz and the possibility that the party establishment will end up intervening with tens of millions of dollars in negative TV spots means a long, gory slog that might not find resolution until after the national convention in Cleveland in mid-July. (Of course, if Trump is ultimately the nomination victor, then “broke” should not be a factor.)

Buried deep within this article is the core of what will end up being the establishment narrative.

Its the conservatives fault.

Interestingly, they've left Ben Carson off this short list.

On the other hand, wouldn't it be just as easy for the establishment to get on board with what the people plainly want and back one of these guys?

If the dnc decides she’s the one, the media will be forbidden to say anything critical of her. It will paint a false picture of her, just as it did with 0, and chant “first woman president” every chance it gets.
The public is too stupid to analyze it, and the country is in deep $h!t for another 8 years.

The reality is that you take the numbers of folks going to the Trump rallies, and you wonder how many folks go to Hillary’s rallies and it is very telling. Kid you not, I have seen the pictures.

A good next presidential campaign must needs look like a team effort. There isn’t any perfect set-and-forget candidate for president, nor does there need to be. It is possible that the fortes of many can come into play if a suitable person is picked. My personal favorite is Trump with his demonstrated ability to operate as an executive, to be a listener to good advice, and to negotiate, but this could change.

Hillary has a tendency to shovel out crap and tell you that it is chocolate cake. Sometimes in battles over favorites in the other major party, we forget this. The goal is to drain the swamp even though we are neck deep in alligators. Not to be more alligators ourselves.

Look at the source. This is by a Clinton operative not a serious analysis.

In the unlikely event she should win, if the opposition (note I didn’t say Republicans) holds onto majorities in Congress then there would be the potential for ongoing unimpeded investigations, possible impeachment, and hopefully a stopgap against her possible Scotus appointments.

Frustrating as it is, maintaining control of Congress is as important as winning the White House.

The real threat from the Democrat side is Bernie Sanders. He actually polls better than Clinton against Republican candidates. The intensity on the far left for him is higher than it was for Obama. If Hillary gets the nomination, lots of young people and hardcore leftists will stay home and not vote (similar to Jeb Bush on our side).

With all those “advantages”, why bother with an election. Just have a coronation and save all that money that would be wasted.

BTW, I found out, over the weekend, that one of my granddaughters is dressing up for Halloween as SWMNBN - pants suit, cell phone and horns. Smart girl.

The reality is that the old msm has compitition, call talkradio and the internet. Plus you take into consideration that Trump for example gets more people at his rallies that could Hillary could only dream and you wonder, “first women President” stuff not withstanding.

Not to mention massive election fraud, which they've learned they can commit with absolute impunity.
