House lawmakers in both parties joined forces Wednesday to pass a sweeping budget deal that marks both a parting victory for outgoing Speaker John Boehner (R-Ohio) and a valedictory gift for his likely replacement, Rep. Paul Ryan (R-Wis.).

The final vote was 266 to 167, with 79 Republicans joining every Democrat in sealing passage. Ryan was among the supporters.

rivers of blood - Hmmm..m.. It seems like Obama & Company
wants to “use” jihadists to do that bit of dirty work for
them. - What they don’t count on is the fact that after
the jihadists dispatch us peasants; then they will not be safe from their own instruments of terror by retiring to fancy digs in Hawaii. Jihadists’ favorite mode of
transportation is airplanes!

The GOP are simply evil liberals. They just do what they do. It takes a special kind of moron to listen to what people on websites tell them to vote for ‘no matter what’.

And despite this, we still hear from the reprehensible posters who sell the snake oil pabulum of "I'll still vote for the Republican over a Democrat no matter what".

Voting does make a difference.

Yeah right. We handed the GOP both the House and Senate last year - and what do we have to show for our 'votes'??

A DICTATORSHIP VIA THE VERY GOP WE PUT THERE

You are stuck on crazy if you actually think voting makes a damn dime's worth of difference after a fascist coup.

The one we suffered that folks pretend never happened.

And did you vote for the morons that have repeatedly voted with Democrats? Or did you pay attention and vote for people who didn’t campaign on compromise, had records of compromise, funded leftist cause and legislated for leftist causes? Because it’s awfully interesting how many people never stand up and say “Yes I helped cause this and I’m going to work to fix my mistakes”.

Everyone is sooooooo pissed off about the GOP but gee, who put them there? It must have happened by magic.

Until people man the hell up and recognize the actual source of the problem we don’t even turn the boat much less right the course.

Probably not. You were warned, folks...

Yes and the founders knew this. I believe that they were smart enough to know it would never last considering their broad knowledge and understanding of things. In a very short amount of time, this country has rotted away destiny. I weep for my country and have become way to cynical. Look at the current president with the cesspool of governance at all levels and what they have to offer thereafter. They are electable? Now they are! Years ago they were a laughing stock and many would be led to prison for treason or at least total irrelevance.I blame this on the brain dead voters. We never wanted nor really understood Federalism, the Constitution, let alone American exceptionalism. The final nail of that was when the Kenyan said so. I could just run out the clock and give up, but I do owe it to my child and my nephews. If my blood should be fertilizer so be it. I cannot imagine the year 2020 when my daughter and boys go to college and the wars, invasion and debt should inevitably come to the boiling point. Who knows, Iran, North Korea or any other Islam scum may just do the job at any time. We deserve what we get as long as those in position to do something do nothing and/or do the bidding to our enemies. Yes, that was a rant but isn't that all we do anyway?

I am very aware of the defacto proxy allies Obama and the GOP are bringing into the country.

We the Citizens are being REPLACED by our own government. Right now.

But if the goal is to destroy the nation and render it ashes so they can ‘rebuild’ it - or leave it for the crows because of the ideological hatred for our existence - then using a proxy army of Jihadists and Mexicans suddenly makes strategic sense.

The Ruling Class is so detached from we little people, they do not care or think that what they are doing is going to affect them.

And unfortunately those 40 are irrelevant...(ObamaCare, this ‘budget’, Iran deal, trade deals, immigration, so on and so forth). You don’t control DC, it controls YOU. We elected way more than ‘40 conservatives’ but that’s all that so far have survived the cesspool of Washington. Electing ‘conservatives’ is now a game of chance.

It always has been. In the past, we were not aware of the sellouts because the MSM sheltered them. Now we do not have any excuses. If you live in the district of one the 79 listed in Post #61 and you vote for him you deserve what you get.
