I don’t think he will. If you think about it, GOPe power has NEVER given up. They lie like troopers to their constituents at election time and they do the exact opposite when they “rule” (actually appeasement to Obama and Democrats).

They lie, they cheat and they steal from constituents. They talk about us to their crony PAC buddies behind our backs, they ridicule us and they tell media we are irrelevant.

Jeb Bush and the evil that surrounds and supports him will spend every last dime of supporters’ and other peoples’ money before they give up.

IMO, we will have to completely destroy that party that harbors them to be done with this foolishness.

Why? Who does it hurt for them to stay in the race?

Only an arrogant bastid would suggest that his competition drop out.

I hope Jeb and Christie will stay in, along with Rubio. Those three big government liberals need to keep on splitting the softcover vote from those trying to nominate yet another loser from the Republican party.

Trump is right, for that reason and much more.

If Jeb Bush drops out, you can bet he will do whatever he can to undercut the Republican nominee. All of a sudden, he will become the respected elder statesman of the party who opines to the press from his perch at Mt. Olympus on the deficiencies of the candidate, the backwardness of the party and the idiocy and extremism of its base. I bet you 10-1, he will do this out of bitterness and the fact that the Bushes are MUCH closer in world view and on a personal basis to the Clintons than they ever were to the Reagans or will be to any real conservative candidate who gets the nomination.

And Trump will destroy what little he has left. He signed a pledge to support the nominee. If he tries that the entire Bush name will be mush for ever and ever...

Trump is just toying with the loser. Daring him to just as you said.

Oh sure. They’re on the outs with us and probably a lot of other disillusioned former Obama supporters (and some blue/white collar traditional Republicans).

But, they refuse to realize it and accept it. They see the PAC and CoC immigration appeasement money, the lower taxes for banks and big business money, and other big donor money. They pay consultants extremely big bucks to hear the lies they’ve so far been able to get away with, and they still believe they can try some new “schtick” campaign trick and win (not ‘again’ BTW, based on the last two impotent tries).

They’ve drunk their own Kool Aid and they’ve found somebody else to pay for it. God help us if they win.

Let Jeb hang and spend whatever is left of his $100+ million. Boost the economy, etc.

With the growth in popularity of outsiders such as the Donald, Sen. Ted, and Dr. Ben, the GOPe is NOW starting to wake up and SMELL the fresh coffee. They have NO CHOICE.

And yet, Jeb has “restarted his campaign again. How many times is this? They just are not going to listen.

something like that. My point is that they are committed to persisting, even in the face of what normal people would say are insurmountable odds.

That is why I think their party has to be destroyed to stop all this.

It's time now for Trump to quit worrying about, and commenting on, his rivals and concentrate on policy and how he will attack the problems we face.

He knows what he’s doing. He’s telling Jeb to drop out to assure that Jeb won’t drop out.
