The student who stabbed four people on the campus of UC Merced was identified Thursday as 18-year-old Faisal Mohammad from Santa Clara, Calif., the university confirms to Fox News.
"He had a smile on his face, he was having fun," a construction worker who helped stop the attack told CBS 47.
Campus police shot and killed Mohammad, a freshman computer science & engineering major, after Wednesday's attack. Police detonated his backpack and are testing a substance inside, KGO reports.
The four victims are expected to survive.
Authorities are investigating a motive.

I saw the only response by the DUmmies, and of course it was the “right wing mouth breathers fault”, because the perp was only 3 years old when that mean old Bush started the war on terror.

Note that it was a Fox News reporter that wrote this line. This is a double case of conscious, willing, denial of reality. First by the police detectives who pretend they don't know the motive, and second, by the Fox News reporter who reports the lie with straight-faced deception.
A real journalist, with both guts and brains, would have written something like the following:
Police officials claim to be investigating a motive, but the both long and recent history of violent attacks by Muslims on non-Muslims suggests that this is yet another act of violence motivated by the holy books of Muslim faith, the the violent practices of political Islam.

Because leftists know you will never ban knives, and they know they will never ban cars(remember the woman a few weeks ago who killed 5 people with her car at OSU, it was done on purpose) I didnt hear anyone saying that cars need to be banned..a Muslim Jihadist goes into a school and starts stabbing people and I hardly heard about it in the media, because the perp used a knife, and of course “They dont know what the motive is” heck they probably dont know what the motive is for all the Jihadists in Israel stabbing people either

I am sure the results of the investigation will reveal that the "motive" is unclear.

You are not alone. Yesterday there was a photo of the perp identified as Tran. He looked East Asian.
I don’t suppose they’ll tell us the names or ethnicity of the victims. That might shed some light on the motive.
