Don’t squeal about the media mistreatment of republicans and then turn around and use them to aid your own campaign.
I beat him to it three days ago on a FR Carson thread. We don’t need to be allied with the Marxist press or Marxist party for any reason.
But of course, it is okay to pile on Donald Trump under any circumstances, right?
Carson has brought a lot of this on himself...the grain story...the West Point story....wanting PR to become a State...(they don't want a State, they want a Commonwealth)...
When your already being torn to pieces trying to find ‘anything’ to throw at you...lesson number one: ‘don't help them out’!!!

Hardly. It’s time for Ben Carson to start acting like he’s a conservative, or stop pretending that he is one.

As much as I hate to disagree with Mark Levin, what he said amounts to being willing to give a candidate a free pass no matter what he says. I’m not for ‘piling on’, but I am for wanting the truth, no matter where it leads. I’ve known people who routinely embellish the truth, and/or make a habit of telling stories for which there is no corroboration. Indeed, they appear to greatly enjoy telling those.

I agree with you, I think we are entitled to the truth of the person, they are going to be leading our Country...and we have to know what they are...thank you....

I have no problem with people on here giving Ben a hard time on immigration or whatever issue they think he has been weak on or not conservative enough on. No problem at all. Heck, I think that gives me pause, too, in my support.
What I cannot stand is to watch a repeat of a character assassination that is based on lies or half-truths and see campaign operatives posing as freepers take part in the shoveling of all the crap.

Yup. I’ve got plenty of concerns about Carson on policy but that pales in comparison to any dirtbag who whines about the media only to turn around and join the media in attacking another candidate on meaningless side issues.
I think Virginia is a commonwealth also...I lived in PA for 17 years...and the difference is the villiages, and Township supervisors in those areas whereas Mayors, etc...the big cities have Mayors, like Scranton, Philly, etc but they have villages...which I liked...
They don’t realize all this is going to do is solidify his support. Having the Media machine attack him is going to be seen as solidifying his “outsider” credentials.
Like Jeb’s resume campaign, the DC machine just does NOT understand the old way of doing politics is not going to work this year.
Debunking is a good thing, that’s true. Still, it bothers me that nobody has come forth to offer backup to Carson’s stories, including his own brother. I know that if my sibling needed corroboration for his/her story, and I could legitimately give it, I would. It bothers me that Carson’s brother, so far, is unwilling or unable to do so. None of the people who were helped from the biology incident have stepped forward to say that Carson’s story is true, either. Perhaps someone will. It’s possible that they are all dead now. I don’t know.
It’s just that I’ve known people who tell tall tales and I don’t like lies and liars. I’ve seen the harm done by some of them and know that I can’t depend on what they say. I’d love to see Carson quit hiding behind the media’s giving Obama a pass and tell them, ‘investigate all you want’. Until he does that, or until someone comes forward to back up his stories, I’m going to remain a skeptic.
All that said, I was not going to vote for him, anyhow, though I’d though he might make a good surgeon general. Now, I’m not sure that I’d trust him anywhere in government.
