Monday on MSNBC’s “Hardball,” while discussing a new pro-Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX) super PAC ad featuring an anti-gun control message that references Presidents Barack Obama’s gun control push after the shooting at Sandy Hook Elementary School in Newtown, CT, Sen. Richard Blumenthal (D-CT) called on Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX) to disavow the ad.

Richard “Stolen Valor” Blumenthal should STFU.

The ad only mentions Obama’s Sandy Hook Gun Grab in passing, and even if the whole ad was about it there would be nothing offensive about it.

The controversy will only help Cruz as it will get more people to view the ad. Rubio is the one who should be upset as the ad justifiably makes him look bad.
