Wait … what? Debbie Wasserman Schultz attacked the mainstream media for its bias and hostility toward Ben Carson? Ahhh, but there’s a catch in this nice find by Newsbusters. It turns out that DWS had to use Carson as the rhetorical diversion to protect Hillary Clinton from renewed media scrutiny into her serial fabulism — and by a surprising source:

It is down right scary that people actually support turning over our national security to Ben Carson. We have a traitor in the White House now who endangers our security, but Ben Carson is an engraved invitation to our enemies to attack us hard and attack us often. No way Republicans will actually nominate Carson ... if even we very conservative see a hint of lunacy in him (Trumps odd perhaps in some ways - but not in a KooKoo! KooKoo! way) ... that hint of KooKoo that many of us see in Carson ... imagine how the more center Republican nominating crowd sees him.

I can see Trump's numbers climbing from where they are. Can see Cruz's numbers climbing ... Rubio too though I don't like him.

Carson I bet is pinned at whatever he's at now. What he's got is all he'll get. If Carson wanes, his numbers will go to any of the others, but if any of the others' numbers wane -> they will not go to Carson. So, pinned.
