I think Cruz is looking toward the job of Attorney General....doing some things there for four years and then have Trump offer him a seat on the Supreme Court as two or three retire by 2024. It’ll be curious how the Republican anti-Cruz behavior continues with him as AG or him coming up as Justice.
President Taft served on Supreme Court. Cruz could be VP then President then serve on Supreme Court. He is a young man.
I would prefer him as Attorney General for 3 years. I can just see the Democrats running for the hills now. Lois Lerner? Jail. Hillary Clinton? Jail for unauthorized disclosure of classified information.
Bill Clinton? Rico investigation of Clinton Foundation. If found corrupt, then he/they lose everything plus jail. Chelsea
can write her bio while in jail. The former President and Eric Holder? I really suspect there is something on both of them. Holder can go ahead and do time for contempt I am sure.
And make damn sure these people have to pay their own lawyer fees, not the government.
Of course this wish list needs to go through all the proper investigations, grand juries, and trials.
Yup. Cruz as vp and Senate presidentwould be an excellent complement to Trump in a variety of ways.

If you like someone else, donate to him/her (find your own link to do it) and if you use FR and don't donate, then please don't complain about the welfare leeches or those who have Obama Phones because, functionally, you are no different than any other FReeloader

While I think it’s a waste of Ted Cruz’ time to serve as VP, (although he will also be President of the Senate, which is juicy stuff), I’ll accept that they have a 16-year plan in the works!
