Fox & Friends host Steve Doocy defended Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump‘s claim that thousands of New Jersey Muslims celebrated on 9/11, saying that he knew people who saw it in person and that he saw it on television.

Here in New York, it was easy to get angry listening to Egyptians, Palestinians and the Arabs of nearby Paterson, N.J., celebrate as they received word of the murderous attacks in New York and Washington. But Mayor Giuliani (who has been tireless and magnificent in this crisis) rightly warned New York- ers that it would be wrong to take their anger out on the city's Arab and Muslim residents. Attacks on Arab-Americans in Paterson or elsewhere are utterly indefensible.
I remember those azzholes dancing, not sure where they were because I was in shock. You know, it does not matter where they were, they danced. If this is what they got against Trump, it’s nothing. Why the hall do we want azzholes here that dance when Americans are attacked so violently. FY people who think this is a reason to go after Trump.
This is just plain dishonest. There are RINOs with some personal integrity. I’d have them as a neighbor, but wouldn’t vote for them. Chris Christie, eg.
This time around, he will carefully select who will be in the Press room. Soon you will perhaps be seeing them trying to kiss up as they have to know what is in store for them.

I, too, saw the celebrations on TV with my own eyes. I saw the ones in the middle east, and I saw the ones in the US.
And, there really were thousands celebrating in the US.
Trump is telling the truth and I hope that the media looses credibility with every repetition of their lie.
What the media is doing here is blatant gaslighting (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gaslighting). They’re deliberately lying and covering up to try to make people doubt their own memory. It’s truly despicable, but par for the course for the amoral un-American garbage we know as leftists.
What they’re saying is it wasn’t all of New Jersey Muslims cheering as Trump clearly stated......rather we all saw on the TV Muslims celebrating....
It’s just another example of Trump not paying attention to details when he speaks.....which then the media can run and fill in the blanks or cut and paste as they see fit....he really needs to focus better and not try to be so entertaining.

He did not say “all” and he did not say “thousands” he just said he saw “lots” on TV in New Jersey across the River. The media is conflating the “thousands” off someone else’s report and the intent all along has been to micro-nit the narrative on this.
Jake Tapper’s interview with Cohen was nauseating and his facial expressions would have caused me to land a right hook on his face. Arrogant basturd.

But there’s no doubt that they celebrated, maybe not by the thousands, but there were groups of them celebrating in the streets according to multiple to eye witness accounts.
Doocy also had a black man on this morning.. the father of a boy who was killed by an illegal... he had the father read what he wrote about the death of his son... very touching tribute....
The father is a Trump follower. Said all illegals should be sent back.
