Now all the moochers know where to go when the EBT cards become useless.
What I fail to see is the storage areas on the floorplans. Where does 1-2 years worth of food and water go?
One needs to advertise it if one wants to sell it.
A blast where, exactly? Directly overhead?
My house is certified to withstand a 20k nuclear blast too, as long as that blast occurs in Iran.
So what happens if a 19 MT nuke vaporizes the facility?
MT=KT
“Directly overhead?”
Probably, so long as it’s not actually detonated on the surface. 45 feet deep is pretty far, and any appreciable altitude will mitigate crater depth. 20kT is about equal to the Hiroshima blast, which did leave buildings standing near ground zero.
Foolish at best.
When the SHTF, the site has its vulnerabilities: fresh air intakes are needed for all systems, especially the generators that produce tons of heat. That heat has to be exhausted - clog the exhaust point, obstructing airflow and systems overheat and fail.
A bad guy can poison the air or cut off airflow and everyone below is toast. Assuming the intake vents are hidden - they can be found......
The vanity of man thinking he can make himself invulnerable with his money.
Like the proverb, “A pawn and a king both return to the same box after a chess game.....” We all came from dust, and will return to dust, taking nothing with us other than what was done for eternity.....
If the internet and those solar cells are still working, you can probably drive down to the supermarket for food. It may have its own wells.
They need to market to New Yorkers who might consider it a luxury apartment with two bedrooms, a large bathroom, kitchen, dining and living rooms crammed into 600 sq.ft.
I looked at the apartment floor plans. I don’t see the kitchen and dining room. What I do see is a combination living/dining area, but not kitchen at all.
Now, one big assed target.
“What I do see is a combination living/dining area, but not kitchen at all.”
No worries, just order some take-out.
There was some prepper a few years ago who was interviewed (in an media interview on preppers) and a major part of his plan was to seize survival goods from the people in his area who were also preppers.
It wasn’t like the guy confided this plan to a friend...he just laid it out. (as I recall, the guy was also a lib)
I can just see this guy trying that on his neighbors, who didn’t look like they had to go to Cabelas on a Saturday to buy all the equipment...
Would they take a check?
Looks legit...
In my travels around the prep-o-sphere, I have personally encountered these "wolves" - predators who are casing the real preppers for their stashes.
There are a lot of people out there who are looking forward to the Zombie Apocalypse - and not for the best of intentions...
200 PSI Overpressure? Think the vault doors will still work?
Preppers’ PING!!!
See post #15 this thread. I have encounter some of these types on FR and have warned of them.
Hat Tip to Old Sarge for the heads up.
