It WAS a hate crime..they released the names of one of the victims here, he was Jewish..they have photos of him from his facebook page attending his son’s Bar Mitzvah..I wonder if the Jihadist scum bag knew there were Jews at this meeting

Maybe it is just my reading of it but it looks like typical lefty moral equivalency that you find on the pages of Salon. He is lumping a terrorist cell together with a deranged individual and saying they are the same: Hate crimes. They are not.
One case, Colorado, is sad and tragic. The guy is deranged.
The other case, San Bernardino, is part of an organized, methodical effort at exterminating the entire non-muslim world and is supported by foreign nations (Saudi Arabia, Pakistan, Iran, Qatar, Yemin, Libya...). The two are different. The only similarity is death.
A hate crime? The term “hate crime” is, itself, the most PC terminology ever concocted. If a white man kills a white man it is called murder. If a white man kills a black man it is called a hate crime. The reasons don’t matter. The PC application of terminology, in this case, hate crime, to further political ends is something invented by the left.
