Trump was miffed that Netanyahu had an opinion outside of Trump’s, so he cancelled (postponed) - walked.

I am sure Trump consulted with Bibi and they mutually agreed that it was better to postpone the trip, which would have placed Bibi in a difficult position politically.

NB: Bibi sought and received Trump's endorsement in his election and Trump made a video supporting Bibi.

Oh boy,he has more important things to deal with, like Israel’s survival.
Trump wanted to steal the media coverage back. No matter anything else.

When 18% of your citizens are Muslims, you don't have much choice in saying other than what Bibi did.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said Wednesday that he rejects Donald Trump’s call for a ban on Muslims entering the U.S.

“The state of Israel respects all religion and strictly adheres to the rights of all its citizens,” he said in a statement.

“At the same time, Israel is fighting radical Islam which is attacking Muslims, Christians and Jews alike and threatens the entire world,” Netanyahu added.

Netanyahu’s office also revealed Wednesday that he is not cancelling his huddle with the GOP presidential front-runner later this month.

“The Prime Minister decided earlier this year on a uniform policy to agree to meet with all presidential candidates from either party who visit Israel and ask for a meeting,” the Israeli leader’s office said in a statement, according to The Times of Israel.

“This policy does not represent an endorsement of any candidate or his or her views,” the statement continued.

“Rather, it is an expression of the importance that Prime Minister Netanyahu attributes to the strong alliance between Israel and the United States.”

Netanyahu’s office additionally confirmed it had scheduled Trump’s visit before his controversial remarks on Muslims last Monday.

It booked the meeting between both men two weeks ago, The Times of Israel said Wednesday.

Trump should go to Saudi Arabia. That’d be really cool.

It’s fascinating to watch the reaction when it comes to a choice between PM Netanyahu and Trump.

“However, if he had supported Trump’s position, I have no doubt you guys would be virtually high fiving all over this forum.”

Because you know people that support Cruz see when X person doesn’t “support their position” they just smile, say “thank you” and go gingerly skipping into the sunset with butterflies and hearts emanating out of their ears, right?

“Trump wanted to steal the media coverage back.”

Yeah, that f***ing retard. He ought to let the media control the narrative. That’s how a real candidate operates.

And when can we expect Cruz’s trip to Israel? Since we can only assume that he’s the only candidate that cares about “Israel’s survival”.

Critics say it is both impractical and unconstitutional.

Impractical, yes. Unconstitutional, no. At least since he seems to have backed away of applying the ban to U.S. citizens.

Interesting. I was surprised at Netanyahu’s response but to cancel a visit because of a disagreement? Sounds like Trump is calling for the Wwwwaaaaaaambulance to me. He wants to support Israel only on his own terms? Am I reading this right?

By the way, what Israel does in regards to their immigration policies really has no bearing on the US stopping Muslim immigration.

Trump should fly Bibi to Florida & host him for a couple of days in his home there.

I see both of these men as the only real leaders in the world.

Trump and Netanyahu are personal friends for years. This is a non event. BB has to choose his words carefully since he’s surrounded by 2 billion screaming muzzies, Omuslim has abandoned him to the UN who wants to recognize a Fakestinian state without Israel’s approval.

My guess is Trump and BB have already talked on the phone and agreed to wait.

My biggest fear is that CW will start liking Trump and put the bad joo joo on his campaign. So far she has pimped Cruz down to about 11% in the new Reuters poll. :-)

This trip should be kept a complete secret-—0before—during & after.

Or they could meet in a neutral location—again in secret. Too big a target for the MOOOOOOOSSLIMS.

Bibi sought and received Trump’s endorsement in his election and Trump made a video supporting Bibi.

BiBi blew it. He has a choice Hillary who is a Jew hater with Huma the Muslim Brotherhood babe as her adviser or Trump who went so far as to campaign for Bibi when Bibi was down in the polls.

Trumps son in law is a religious Jew and Ivanka is a Jewish convert, Israel finally after 7 years might have a friend in the White House.

I have liked Bibi since he was UN ambassador but now my view is you don’t do this to a friend like Trump. It was stupid and avoidable. Bibi had dozens of ways of staying out of this. Trump is doing what that wall in Israel tries to do, keep terrorists out.

Do we want daily stabbings, bombings and vehicular homicides inside the USA. Bibi is a hypocrite Mossad profiles Muslims all the time, they have to.

Or to demonstrate his solidarity with Israel, which is something that soebarkah has never done. Though I guess I can understand Bibi's not wanting to show favorites in the American election process.

And when can we expect Cruz's trip to Israel?
Ted Cruz has visited Israel three times so far that I know about, each time meeting with Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.

His first visit was Dec 17, 2012.

The second visit was January 11, 2013 as part of a U.S. Senate delegation including Mitch McConnell and three other Senators.

The third visit was for two days beginning May 26, 2014 as part of a foreign tour that included Ukraine, Poland and Estonia. While in Israel, Cruz had meetings with PM Benjamin Netanyahu, Knesset Speaker Yuli Edelstein, Defense Minister Moshe "Bogi" Ya'alon, Intelligence Minister Yuval Steinitz, Israeli Gen. Yossi Kuperwasser, Economy Minister Naftali Bennett and opposition leader Issac Herzog (Labor). He also visited an IDF hospital in the Golan Heights.

You are without a doubt one of the most shallow posters on this forum.

Bibi is under the gun in Israel. While Trump as a candidate might cause a disturbance in Israel, a President Trump would be someone Bibi had to deal with.

Trump may have been doing Bibi a favor by not going now. Did you ever think of that? Oh wait, let me rephrase that. Do you ever think?

What I know is that Bibi has been "under the gun" for just about forever and that Trump had scheduled his trip a couple of weeks ago, but after Bibi had the "unmitigated gall" to contradict Trump, Trump immediately "postpones" the trip.

"Shallow?" You want shallow? Your candidate is.
