Secretary of State John Kerry said Sunday he does not believe that "the American people, who predominantly do believe in what is happening with climate change," will elect a president who does not "understand climate change" or is not committed to the type of global agreement reached in Paris.
"I think, frankly, a lot of members of Congress are on the wrong side of history, and I don't believe you can be elected president of the United States if you don't understand climate change and you're not committed to this kind of a plan," Kerry told ABC's "This Week" from Paris, where delegates at the weekend approved a new global climate accord. ...

If only the politicians Kerry accuses of being wrong on climate change would go on the offensive. Point out that Kerry and wife Theresa are wealthy elitists with personal carbon footprints the size of a small city. Speak to the multiple palatial homes, fleet of gas guzzling SUV’s and limos, private jet, vacations at luxury resorts abroad, the yacht, acres of manicured grass on the estates. The anti climate change politicians in unison should use Alynski tactics, holding the wealthy liberals to their own standards.
Demand Tom Steyer, Warren Buffet, John Kerry, the Clintons, the Kennedys, Elizabeth Warren, John Kerry, Al Gore, Bill Gates and the Hollywood stars lead by example. Sell the estates and downsize into one modest home in an urban neighborhood among the disenfranchised citizens they aspire to help. Ditch the limos for public transit, bicycles and walking. Sell the private jet and fly coach on a commercial airlines. Vacation in a tent at a nearby national or state park or stay at a Comfort Inn at a public beach instead of going to a big compound at Martha’s Vineyard or the Hamptons. Take their children out of the carbon emitting private schools and enroll them in the mass public education factories of the inner city where they can learn first hand about diversity and oppression. Donate their obscene excess wealth to fund renewable energy projects in their new neighborhoods and third world countries.
Harry Reid and others pillory “wealthy capitalist Republicans” every day. A real opposition party wouldn’t take the punches quietly. It would return fire and personalize the issue by daily pointing out to the people their liberal plantation overlords are complete hypocrites. I watch the occasional man on the street interviews where the reporter shows pictures of the multiple homes of the Clintons to average people. They are always surprised to learn these are the homes of Bill and Hill. Imagine if the message were repeated daily so it would ultimately resonate with millions.

Yes, he is a damned traitor who should be in prison for treason. He committed treason by siding with the VC and NVA in Paris years ago. I lived on Knopps Pond/Lost Lake in Groton, MA in 74-75. This idiot or a family friend had a summer home on the lake, too.
