UK Daily Mail ^ | December 13, 2015 | Guy Adams

Sitting in one room, a young Muslim woman tells an elderly cleric about the parlous state of her marriage to a 50-year-old man. ‘He oppressed me to the maximum,’ she declares. ‘He is violent, physically, and treats me like a dog.’ The woman — who looks barely out of her early 20s — describes her spouse as verbally and physically abusive about ‘every little thing’ she does.

Disgusting these courts are allowed to exist in the land that gave us the Common Law.

America has slid into the ditch...but Britain has LOST for sure the higher ground and is in the pits, not the ditch.

Sometimes a society is just too stupid to survive.

Goodbye U.K., nice knowing you.

They can’t. They have also allowed their masters in government to take away their guns. They’re screwed, IOW.

This is why I support a constitutional amendment that specifically prohibits any canon from becoming law that is not in accordance with the Constitution.

People in the USA can choose to have a religious court hear a case. It happen here with Orthodox Jews as well as Muslims. It’s the choice of the individuals involved. But regardless of there choice, the parties cannot go to our secular courts to have the religious court’s order enforced, unless that order is consistent with our civil and criminal laws.

I doubt that British courts will enforce any of the decrees of the Muslim courts.

At some point Russia will have to take the UK nukes out of the UK least they fall into the hands of the majority Muslim population in the UK. Same problem in France but at least in France there is serious opposition to the massive immigration into France.

“’She will need to have sex first [with the third man], divorce him, [and] wait three menstrual periods,’ reports a witness to the hearing. ‘Then she can return to the father of her children.’”

“men only need to say ‘I divorce you’ three times to separate from their wives”

Sounds like a very cheesy sit-com.

How many more before the public realizes it? Obviously, these “courts” have jurisdiction over normal people who stray into the areas controlled by the savages.

Then, shalt thou count to three, no more, no less. Three
shalt be the number thou shalt count, and the number of the counting
shalt be three. Four shalt thou not count, nor either count thou two,
excepting that thou then proceed to three. Five is right out.

Sometimes people will want religious leaders (Rabbis, for example) to decide disputes. Other times, certain provisions in a contract are stipulated to the decided pursuant to religious law. In CA, this usually ( actually, it’s highly unusual) is between or among Jews. I haven’t seen one involving Muslims. I don’t know what or where their “court” is - I’ve never seen such a proceeding.

They can freely consent to any term or condition they want, or to have any person decide disputes, assuming no criminal law is violated. However, decisions pursuant to all such private arrangements are not enforceable in our court system unless otherwise consistent with our state/federal laws. In other words, they cannot come to the CA court system and seek an order from a state judge implementing the decision of their private arrangement if inconsistent with state law.

Wouldn’t that be arbitration, not court? Most contracts allow for binding arbitration over disputes in conditions of the contract.

That's correct. Their decisions are not enforceable in British law. They have the status in law of tribunals which the parties voluntarily choose to recognise, like the Jewish beth din.

I opposed the Sharia courts, but just to be clear they are civil courts, not criminal courts. As Winniesboy has also pointed out. I refer you to his post. They have to abide by English law.

No, Albion has not fallen.
